The "Ranch"
This newly renovated ranch has been completely remodeled. The living room and kitchen have an openness that allows for summer noises to leak throughout house. All rooms are well designed and comfortable.
Walking out of the living room onto the upper deck just off to your right is your own private pool. The pool is situated directly below first level deck and adjacent to pool house. Beyond the pool is the community open space (forest) that defines the secluded backyard’s boundary. (Forest has some great maintained hiking trails).
Shelter Harbor community amenities:
Beach - Magnificent private ocean beach with lifeguards, located on the mile-long barrier beach. Only access is for area residents. Take a five minute car/private shuttle ride to private beach parking lot.
Boating - Private boat launch ramp for residents and summer tenants. Available Boat mooring. Deep water Breachway access to ocean from pond. Block Island short distance away. Great fishing spots for Strip bass and Blue fish.
Community - Stroll the quiet lanes of the community. Most are not paved and are narrow. Auto traffic is very light. Great for walking, jogging or bike riding. (Very safe for children).
Pond - Walk to private association dock, crabbing, fishing, boating. Pond is great for kayaking, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, fishing. Walk to private swimming area on pond with lifeguards.
Tennis\Basketball - Walk to two private tennis courts (free reservations/usage for summer tenants). Basketball court adjacent to tennis courts.
Golf - Short ride to many great public Golf Courses.
