BRECKENRIDGE VACATION RENTALS - STAY AT STONEYBROOKE, A 6 BEDROOM LUXURY HOME LOCATED
10 MINUTES FROM BRECKENRIDGE COLORADO SKI AREAS Sleeps 13. GREAT SUMMER RATES!
STONEYBROOKE IS A FABULOUS PLACE TO SPEND YOUR TIME IN THE MOUNTAINS AND HERE IS A TESTIMONIAL FROM ONE OF OUR HOLIDAY RENTERS THAT SUMS IT UP BETTER THAN I COULD:
"I know I have told you "thank you" already for letting us stay at your house, but the true thank you is after the wonderful weekend we all had due to such a wonderful home that is secluded and unique and was absolutely perfect for us mountain loving people. The pictures on the internet are great, but did not do your home justice. It was much larger than we expected and had a perfect layout to all hangout together or get away for some quite time alone. The fridge was perfect to accommodate all of our food that we cooked(no wasting time at restaurants or take out for us). We skied, hot tubed, drank, ate, laughed(a lot) and had such a great weekend." Shelby L.
The 6 bedroom 4.5 bath vacation home located just 6 miles south of Breckenridge gives easy access to the slopes in the winter and fishing hiking and biking in the summer. The fully-equipped kitchen includes top-of-the-line appliances and granite countertops. Each of the 6 Bedrooms has luxury linens and beautiful views. Two living areas and 4 TVs give guest plenty of room to relax. Each of the 4 full baths offer plush over sized towels and its own hair dryer. Your own private hot tub seats 8 and offers a great view of the creek. The house is completely high speed wireless internet. There is unlimited long distance with a fax machine and wireless phones.
In the winter, the house is blanketed with snow and is a beautiful oasis against the mountain behind it. In summer, enjoy hiking and biking with trails literally out both the front and back doors. Lounge on the deck and cook on the gas grill while enjoying the hummingbirds and squirrels. The roaring stream gives instant relaxation and deep sleep at night.
The foot bridge behind the house crosses the stream and takes you to the national forest.
Stoneybrooke was the home of the area developer and an heir to a forestry company. It has handcarved doors and fixtures by a Smithsonian blacksmith.
Completely furnished and stocked, this house is perfect for a large family or several couples to enjoy solitude just minutes from town.
TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR GUESTS:
"What a wonderful home to vacation in -- a quiet refuge from the noise of the world! The house could not have been warmer or more inviting. The weather was cold but perfect -- LOTS of snow & blue skies. I loved watching the birds & squirrels in the backyard. Everyone had a grand time skiing and snowboarding and hot tubbing."
"Our entire family spent the Christmas week with us in your beautiful home. Everyone was amazed with the warmth and beauty of the home. The whole family agreed this is one Christmas we will never forget."

Why the Owner Chose Blue River
The area is very family friendly and offers a wide variety of things to do all year around. In winter there is snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. In summer there is golf, hiking, biking and great ATV trails. Great food and a wonderful music scene are icing on the cake.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The property sits beside a roaring creek located in the middle of the Arapahoe National Forest. It is close to town but far enough to give a real outdoor adventure. A national forest trailhead is directly across the stream. The back porch affords visitors a great location for family get-togethers in the summer and apres ski in the winter.

We just got back from our weekend at your home. WOW, what a beautiful home and location. Your house is something really special. It worked out perfect for our family reunion and we had such a good time! I can't say enough about the location at the magical power of the river and the calming feeling you get when gazing on it. Thank you so very much and again we hope to rent every summer. Perhaps next time for a longer duration.

We had out family reunion at this wonderful home on the river. Our family included 11 adults, 2 teenagers and 4 toddlers. We had plenty of room to spread out in the home for sleeping but we spent as much time as possible on the deck and outdoors. The bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable. The decor is exactly how I would design my mountain home if I were so lucky. THE BEST PART - You can't believe the proximity to a roaring river and how the deck follows the river along the entire back of the home. This is a really special home which when visited in the summer helps you to appreciate the awesome beauty that is Colorado (and we live in Denver). Although not a river for fishing, this is a river that's power has a calming effect on the senses. A foot bridge takes you across the river to national forest where more animals are ready to entertain while hiking. We saw a mother deer and her fawn right from the back deck. We taught the grandkids how to make smores and after a long hike, soaked in the hot tub. We had karokee night in the large living room and played games under the stars on the deck. Although the wonderful town of Breckenridge is within 7 minutes from the home, we never felt the need to leave. It is Monday after our weekend at the river and all my family can think about is when can we go back. We could easily have stayed a week. We will next time. If you want to experience Colorado in all its majestic beauty, stay at this home. Year round this home is EXTRA SPECIAL!
