Location: Sundance, Utah, USA
Accommodations: House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths (Sleeps 8-10)
Keywords: Mountain Home
This is one of the finest homes in the Sundance Resort area. It is located less than one mile from the ski lifts, thus making it very accessible to the activities of the resort, yet far enough away to give you the privacy and quietness one would expect in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Truly, a place to build memories.
We are located just minutes away from the Provo river, known for its great brown trout fishing. Park City is a fun town just a short 25 minute drive where you can find more skiing, the alpine slide (summer), hiking, biking, golfing, and great restaurants. Outlet stores there are open year round. This was home for the 2002 Olympic ski jumping the luge events. Wasatch State Park located just minutes from Heber City is beautiful in summer and has gorgeous golf courses, it also is a great place to go snowmobiling in the winter. This will be the home for the cross country ski event.
Heber City has the Heber Creeper train ride down the Provo canyon or golf at the famous Homestead resort.
Bridal Veil Falls is a ten minute ride down Provo canyon and has one of the most beautiful falls in the state. If you choose you could hike to Timpanogus Caves, the trail head is only 20 minutes away.
The best part about our home is that you will have your own privacy, it is located just above the resort, (less than 1 mile from the Sundance Resort) which is beautiful summer, winter or fall..There is horse back riding, hiking, biking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and of course down hill skiing or snowboarding. All just minutes away.
Come and experience the beauty, but only come if you like the white tip mountains against the back drop of deep clear blue skies.

We were only able to slip away for a few days...we love the leafs, but they haven't changed yet. This is so peaceful, we have been coming here for the past 4 years. Thanks for letting us come to enjoy a little place of Eden. Marcie

Wow...I would like to thank Sundance for providing us a spectacular setting to practice our writing skills. This area is so peaceful, clean and eye popping, I can hardly contain my thoughts. This is my first experience with the institute, many thanks for all of your support. This home is truly a paradise for me, we have nothing like this back in Jersey. I met Mike the owner out mowing the lawn the other day, and he was very gracious and was most interested in keeping the mountain untouched, we need more folks like him and Bob Redford. Again much thanks for your hospitality. Regards, Clark Rubin, CSW Note: There was about one full page written and I have condensed it somewhat. Mike Lorscheider, owner

Our neighbor owns a place up there also and recommended Mikes cabin. Folks this ain't no cabin...Its bigger than my home. Its huge and we were able to sleep 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) without being crowded. Snow was super. My kids are better snowboarders than I am, but I'm a better skier. Gotcha Nathan!..There was no hot tub, which would have been nice, but other than that, it was wonderful. We are planning to come back this summer when our son graduates from BYU. Go Cougars!!!! We loved this home, it easily accommodated our 2 families. The snow, I swear was 6' at the cabin. Got stuck, but Mike had his son come up and pull us out. He's a cool guy and Tim his son is cool. My kids skied every day and that wore them out, so all we had to do was sit around and watch them nod off!! We just sat around, put puzzles together and read a lot. Make sure you have all of the puzzle pieces (duh)..this by far is the best home up at Sundance, I would give it a 5 star rating. Bill
