Restored gothic farmhouse in Stowe village combines original charm with updated amenities. Charming interior features such as wide plank flooring and beautiful staircase make you feel like you're in Vermont while high-speed wireless internet access and satellite TV keep you connected. Owners realize you don't want to leave Fido behind, especially with all the great opportunities for romping, so dogs are welcome.

Three bedrooms upstairs share large bath, with oversize tub and shower stall. Master bedroom has a king-size bed and TV. Two smaller bedroom each have two twin beds. Downstairs is spacious, with eat-in kitchen, dining room, two-separate living areas, and another full bath. Sofa in family room pulls out into a bed-perfect for kids.

    Dear Karen & Dan, We have had a great time these past few days exploring Stowe and visiting with friends. Even though the skiing conditions were not up to par we all managed to enjoy our stay.   • We stayed in the farmhouse for six days over the Christmas holidays, 2004. The decor was appealing and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and plan a return stay someday. We especially liked the fact that the house was located within a very short walk from shops and restaurants of Stowe.
