This home is absolutely beautiful! Just a walk to the beach, and a private pool - you won't want to leave! Very clean and well-kept, I wish my house had those beautiful doors, bathroom vanities, and a spiral staircase! It was nice that they had a few pack'n'plays and baby gates as well. Don't miss out - book yesterday!

Stayed here with some friends recently and were awed by how secluded and luxurious it felt while being incredibly close to both the ocean and local attractions. The spiral staircase was amazing, and it seemed like there were no end to the number of rooms, all of which were different and fun. The kitchen was great, and we made some fantastic meals with all the implements we needed already in place. Add in a pool (which we didn't do more than sit by because of the cold) and a great living room area (such comfy couches and surround sound) and there's nothing more we could have asked for! Oh, and the two minute walk to the beach is great, but you can also see it from the balconies, which are fantastic.

We stayed at Jeff's place this last weekend with a group of friends for a long weekend and absolutely loved it!! The house is gorgeous and perfect for large groups. The house was stocked with everything we needed (even for our 5 month old and 2 year old boys), to include a crib, 2 pack and plays, and tons of beach toys. It's also in a gated community so we had no worries when the boys were playing outside in the cul-de-sac. All of the furniture seemed brand new to include the 50-55" Samsung LED and surround sound in the main area. The gourmet kitchen was awesome and also fully stocked with anything you'll need when cooking--it served us well! Between the comfortable couches, beds, and lounging chairs on any of the countless balconies/pool deck, this was the perfect spot to relax! The house is also a short 2 min walk from the beach, a nice running/bike trail, and a new coffee shop. We didn't leave the house/beach much as we were enjoying ourselves too much, but people are right--this neighborhood really is in the center of everything. Already planning to talk with Jeff and see if it's available for a family vacation this summer. Thanks for the great weekend!

This property was just as written and portrayed. The beach was literally 3 mins walk! We rented the home to celebrate my parents 25 year anniversary and Thanksgiving. We had 19 people come to stay and the home hosted us all with plenty of room. We even was able to host a thanksgiving meal and the home provided enough dishes for us all. The house was clean and well stocked. The pool area was smaller than in the picture, but suited us well. The pool heater didn't heat as hot as we had hoped and did go out. Jeff, the owner, responded so quickly and reduced our rate to compensate. I was still on the phone with him when the pool guy showed up! The home had beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc. The service was great and hope to rent again in the future.

My family of 3 adult children, spouses and 2 grandchildren stayed in this property for a week. It is a rental property and had some paint chips and scuffed up walls in places and could have been cleaned better. The home suited us very well and although the pool area is small it worked well for us. Being a block or so from the Gulf worked out very well and was not an inconvenience at all and the difference in renatl rates made it well worthwhile. If we went back to Destin we would stay here again because the size and accomadations suit my family well. The layout of the home is good and afforded everyone the privacy you like to have but often don't get when vacationing together. All in all it was very nice and having our children and grandchildren for a week was perfect.

We just returned from our week in Destin. This is the second time we've rented this beautiful home. This time around, we had 10 adults and 13 kids which fit comfortably in the house. It was never crowded. We had two small issues with the home (the air conditioning and the pool heat), each which were fixed within hours of contacting the owner. The owner is very nice and accommodating. He went out of his way to ensure our trip was successful and fixed not only the small issues we had while we where there, he had the maintenance man look at all the other items while he was there (ice maker, etc...). You will not go wrong renting this unit. The unit is very close to the beach (less than 2 blocks). The location to the stores, grocery and other conveniences is ideal. Everything is within 2 miles or less (even Starbucks). We've been here two years and will probably continue to rent from Jeff in the future. GREAT OWNER, very responsive.

My family and I stayed here for my wedding in late September. The house is just as it appears online. Nice, clean, and plenty of room. However, I do have to say the pool area looks alittle bigger in photos than it actually is, but very well maintained. We called the owner a couple times while there and he always answered or called us back right away. Lots of things to do in the area and great restaurants all around. We would definitely stay at one of Jeffs propertys again.

We had a wonderful stay at this great house. We travelled from Naperville, IL for a spring break get away. Their were four families in our group and the house accommodated 8 adults and 12 children perfectly. The kids loved the heated pool and the short walk to the beach was a breeze. The house is close to the grocery store, outlet malls, CVS and most importantly we could walk to the corner for ice cream. The owner was terrific to work with and took care of every question or request very promptly. I would absolutely recommend this home to a friend.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary with friends and family in this stunning house. Everyone commented on how ideal this house was for our once in a lifetime vacation. The 5 and 6 year old girls thought they were staying in a castle. The house is big enough we could all hang out together; but if someone was tired of the crowd, they had plenty of privacy in their spacious room or balcony to retreat. We had lots of great cooks and made use of the spectacular kitchen. At one point, I counted 6 people working in the kitchen. From strollers to Tupperware, everything that you need is right there. The owner was very reasonable to deal with and helpful. The rental agency was very easy to deal with as well. This was an absolutely unforgettable trip that I could not imagine anywhere else!

We stayed at this house the middle of October with 4 generations from 14 to 76 and everyone have a great time. The beach was not crowded. The shopping was close so we could return for lunch and a dip in the pool. When it rained, we shopped. When it was sunny we went to the beach. We tried to figure out a way to buy the place and just live there, but I don't think beach bums is a very well paying job. Hope to return next year for Fall Break. (the owner was very easy to deal with and even recommended restaurants that were close)

We rented this house in mid-July for a family reunion. Even with 21 people the house did not seem crowded. The location was perfect - just a short half-block walk to the beach with side-walks the entire way. There is a coffee shop and a great pizza place a short 2 block walk away on scenic 98. The pool is the perfect size for the little one to swim. The house was clean and well-appointed. The beds are comfortable. They reason I did not give this a excellent is due to the slightly awkward room layout on the 2nd floor. The one bunk room does not have access to a bathroom on the 2nd floor without walking through another bedroom. They need to walk downstair to use the one off the livingroom. During our stay the lock on the front door broke. We called the rental office and a repairman was at the house in 20 minutes to fix it. They office follwed up later in the day to make sure everything was satisfactory. I was happy with the customer service I received. One suggestion I would make is to swap out the sleeper sofas from the den with the leather sofas in the bedrooms. It would make it easier for cleaning and provide a way for parents to have kids in their room without having to sleep on the pullout in the bunk room.

This was the first family trip for my family and it was the best. I am on this web site to plan next years trip because I do plan on going back. The house was amazing and roomy for a family like mine. We took 17 people and had a blast. I'm from Dallas, Tx and would like to let anyone and everyone know this is the house to rent because of the convenient area where the house was at couldn't had been better. We were not far from the beach and shopping areas, and the people were so friendly in our community. I actually loved it sooo much that I want to rent the house for a whole month next year. This is the perfect home away from home. Thanks a million to the owners for having everything we could of needed already there.

We just got home from our trip to Destin. This was the PERFECT house for our group. It had everything we needed and there was so much house that our very large group was comfortable. Very clean and well kept property A++++ Such a close walk to and from the beach so, parking a car was not an issue. Great area and plenty to do within walking distance. Highly recommend. I want to thank Julie for making this such a great experience and for opening her home to us.
