Searching for "Paradise?" You've found it! A perfect Condo, ON a perfect beach, on the perfect island. Maui's sunniest corner enjoys more than 300 days of sun each year. Kamaole One (#8) is located on the secluded end of Charlie Young Beach, which the locals consider to be one of the finest on Maui. From the lanai you can view the islands of Lanai and Molokini. It's ideal for swimming. Snorkeling, and boogie-boarding. A four mile walk along the beach takes you to the luxury hotels of Wailea.
This is not your typical condominium complex. Kamaole One has only 12 units, and they are all right on the beach. Second floor units such as ours view the ocean through two stories of ceiling to floor, wall to wall glass. The view is equally spectacular from the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and lanai. You not only see the ocean but you can hear it. It would be impossible to find a deluxe hotel room this close to the beach.
Our kitchen has all the amenities for gourmet cooking. We also have an electric grill on the lanai. We have a large flat screen TV in the living room. Wood floors in driftwood white are used throughout the unit including the kitchen and bathrooms. The loft master bedroom boasts a double sink vanity with hollywood lighting and corian countertops and shower, three way mirrors, ceiling fan, and the same sweeping views of the beach and ocean as seen from the lanai.
This is our home and we are looking for individuals who will appreciate the peace and beauty of our home and who will leave it exactly as they found it. A maximum of four adults may rent our unit- no children allowed. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Condo or lanai.

What a beautiful property & unit! Small, quiet, intimate, but spacious and airy. A perfect location on one of my favorite beaches on Maui. This condo had everything we needed for a week of blissful ocean breezes and relaxation. The beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable. Nice towels in the 2 bathrooms as well. Kitchen utilities fully stocked, we wanted for nothing. Covered parking too, much appreciated on hot, sunny days. Every day we walked downstairs right onto the Kamaole One / Charley Young beach and enjoyed the surf & sun. This beach has sweet waves but also an easy incline for those with trouble getting in and out of the water. It's a great place to walk especially at dawn or dusk, peaceful, serene. On our laid back days we'd sit on the lanai, sip cocktails fresh from the blender and watch all the action. Swimmers, dogs, kids, surfers, paddle boarders, outriggers and everything Hawaii right in front of us. That included the whales playing just off shore (winter only). The unit has a convenient washer/dryer combo and central AC, but we liked opening up the windows to let the trade winds through. It's also close to shopping and some great restaurants. Free wifi worked great, flat screen TV in the living area, small electric BBQ grill on the lanai (George Foreman style), ceiling fans, two story views of the ocean, etc. Across the beautiful green ocean front lawn there's also a nice outdoor yet private shower for when you come up off the beach. Very picturesque all around. My only complaint, the drapes could have used a cleaning, but everything else was immaculate. Open those drapes to take in the spectacular sunsets while sipping a Mai Tai or Lava Flow. Perfect. The owner was very responsive via emails & phone. The listings photos don't do justice to the property, it's even better in person. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.
