Located on a very quiet street in Upper Canyon just 500 yards from Perk Canyon Trailhead into the National Forest. Walk or mountain bike the trail every morning! Tall pines all around and no traffic, since Perk Canyon Rd. is not a thru street. House features a very large great room with cathedral ceiling open to the kitchen with large stone fireplace.
Kitchen has a large island for preparing food or setting up a buffet. Perfect for family gatherings or cooking together and playing games. House feels very open and airy unlike many cabins that are dark with low ceilings. Plenty of privacy since the lots in this neighborhood are large and homes are well separated.
Master bedroom has king size bed and private master bath. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a full bath across the hallway and both feature queen size beds. Plenty of fluffy towels and very nice linens on beds. House was freshly decorated during the summer of 2005 so everything is clean and new. Outside deck runs across the front of the house facing South.
Grill and small table with four chairs on the front deck for outdoor dining. This is a terrific house, comfortably furnished and very cozy. Lots of tall pines all around and we often see deer, bear and wild turkeys walking the neighborhood. This location is refreshingly cool in the summer since it is in the upper canyon area, surrounded by tall mountains and lots of trees. Cozy and sheltered from the wind in the winter with nice southern exposure.
