This high quality lake home is tastefully decorated with a Northwood's theme and includes spectacular lake views. The lake home includes breath taking picturesque views of the lake from a wall of windows in the great room and faces East for gorgeous sunrises. Knotty pine walls and ceilings throughout the interior create a wonderful "Up North" feeling. The stunning Vaulted & Beamed Great Room opens to a large upper level lakeside deck equipped with log furniture and a gas grill. A 12x12 Screened Porch furnished with table and chairs and wicker furniture creates another relaxing area to enjoy. A second lower level deck includes a Log Swing and other Log Furniture.
The Master Bedroom is complete with an inviting Queen Log Bedroom Set that is sure to please. A second bedroom with a queen bed is located on the main level. Sky lights in the Upper Loft Area create an open and spacious feel. A Queen Bed and Futon in the Loft allow you to peek at the Moon and Stars. Experience the glider chair and ottoman to relax and read your favorite book in complete comfort. The lower level of the lake home is a recreational game room with a ping pong table and a 7 foot Air Hockey game table.
Bring your favorite DVD movies and CD's to play on the Surround Sound Stereo System in the Great Room or curl up next to the Fieldstone Fireplace to unwind from your busy schedule, or play some Ping Pong on the table tennis set up in the lower level.
Lake Minong (Minong Flowage) is a highly desirable lake in Northwestern Wisconsin. It is 1564 acres in size and is similar to the Canadian Wilderness. There are numerous islands with little bays to explore. The shoreline is heavily wooded with pines and hardwoods, and the lake provides abundant walleye, northern, bass and panfish. It is considered a sportsman's and recreational lake with good quality lake water. Swimming is great at Sand Island, the park public beach, or just off the dock.
This area also includes miles and miles of ATV and snowmobiling trails and is quite heavily forested.
If you need any supplies there is a great General Store located within 3 miles of the Lake Home. This store provides groceries, wine and beer, dvd rentals, fishing licenses and bait, gas, propane, and a full selection of hardware tools and supplies. Specialty coffee drinks available as well.
The Lake Home is located only 25 miles west of the quaint town of Hayward, Wisconsin with a wide selection of shops and restaurants.

I came with 5 other girlfriends for a getaway from work, a break from kids, and to rest, relax and rejuvenate. This "cabin" was such a welcoming, beautiful, comfortable, fully-equipped, serene and amazing lake home that we honestly only left the place once the entire weekend we were there (we canoed on the Namakogen River which was wonderful and scenic!). We cooked every meal in the gorgeous kitchen and the main floor of this lake home is the absolute perfect setting for large gatherings since it is one big open area where you can cook, relax, chat, nap, etc.! There was absolutely nothing lacking in this home, and the best part was probably what wonderful people the owners are. Not only did they send a full packet of information about the home and area ahead of time when we booked, but there is a wonderful book in the home that is almost like a travel guide to the entire area - listing activities, restaurants, rental places for boats, and much more! It was very evident that these owners care about people and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. We loved it so much that I am returning next summer with my family! Thanks Ted and Jill for sharing your beautiful home with us and for making us feel so welcome!

Our week at this cabin was so much more than expected. It is a beautiful lake cabin on a beautiful sandy lake. Caught fish off the dock and enjoyed the air hockey game. We kayaked and canoed the Totogatic River which was close by. The cabin was equipped with "high-end" linens, blankets, cookware, cooking utensils, etc. The owners could not have been more friendly and gracious. I would highly recommend this cabin for any type of get away. Our family was there as a three generation vacation....and it was perfect!

This property is absolutely spectacular! It is exactly as described. The home is High End quality and is very comfortable. We have stayed in many "rentals" and by far this was the nicest! The property has great views of the water, nice fire pit area, and most of all you really get the North woods feel when your not on top of neighbors! There was enough parking for a trailer and several vehicles. I would highly recommend this property.

We were blown away by the quality of the entire cabin - the river rock fireplace, the fully functioning kitchen, the extra blow-up beds; ever attention to every design detail was well thought out and coordinated. This place is high quality without being pretentious. We loved it so much we are coming back next year.

We spent a wonderful week at Ted and Jill's place on the Minong Flowage. My husband and I took our two children (15, 10) with us. The kids had a great time playing in the water by the pier and on Sand Island. We also caught lots of crappie, sunfish and bluegill. It wasn't very far to Hayward either. West's Dairy is definitely a place everyone should go have some ice cream. The cabin was immaculate and so cozy. Everyone in the area was extremely friendly. Our only complaint was that the week went by too quickly. We highly recommend staying in this lovely home! We will definitely be back!

Our family stayed at this great cabin for a weekend getaway to celebrate a birthday. The weekend went way too fast and we will return again! The cabin is more amazing then the pictures! We had great weather and caught so many fish! The cabin is very secluded and gives you the up north feeling, and the morning and evening views are breathtaking. The boat that is included easily fits a family of four, and our little trolling motor got us around just fine. Caught several monster large mouth bass and northern pike. Some were so big that our line broke and they got away. We also caught a few small mouth bass, walleye, and a cute sun fish. Both nights were spent sharing stories around the camp fire and listening to the loons. The dock was great for the boys to jump off of, and it has a nice sandy bottom! Our family can't wait to return. Thanks again Ted and Jill!

What a wonderful place to stay. I could actually live here. It was so warm and cozy for our family get together. Didn't want to even leave the place. The pictures are great, but it was even better in person:) I can't wait to come back in the warm weather with our children and grandchildren. We stayed a weekend and it wasn't long enough. Can't wait to stay for a whole week.

We had the family up for a week of relaxation and couldn't have been more pleased. The attention to detail in the cabin made you feel like it was your own. The view of the lake is spectacular and the wildlife is all around you. Golf was nearby, and the lake itself has all kinds of activities available from skiing to fishing. There truly is something to everyone to do.
