See the spectacular views from our three bedroom, four full bath, non-smoking condominium at the Wyndham's Elysian Beach Resort overlooking beautiful Cowpet Bay (also see our two bedroom condo, #146165, at the same resort). The living area has a sectional sofa, a 42-inch plasma TV, a DVD/CD player/stereo with Ipod player and wireless internet service. It has a covered patio with table, chairs, and chaise lounge. The dining area has a table that seats six. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertop, and an eating bar.
There are two bedrooms on the main floor, both with a king beds. The third bedroom is in a loft setting with a king bed. Also available is a portable crib. All three bedrooms have vaulted ceilings, individual air conditioning units, ceiling fans, 27-inch TVs with DVD/VCR players, dressers, and closets. Each bedroom has a private bath with two sinks (one in loft) and tub/shower combination. All have private balconies with great views of Cowpet Bay and nearby islands. The loft lanai is oversized (12'x18') and is perfect for socializing, sunbathing and star gazing.
It only takes 3 to 4 minutes to walk to the beautiful palm tree lined beach where there are complimentary lounge chairs and hammocks. Here you can bask in the sun or lay in the shade of a palm tree. We also have a complimentary beach towel service. The beach has a large protected swimming area and an area where you can snorkel. Next to the beach is a large beautifully landscaped pool with hot tub. There is also a beach bar and two great restaurant, Roberts American Grille, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and Ainsley's serving sandwiches and pizza. On site we have a tennis court, exercise room (fee), Health/Beauty Spa (fee) and water-sport rentals (fee).
In the nearby town of Red Hook, you can take a ferry to St. John and the British Virgin Islands. The town has lots of restaurants, two grocery stores, a video rental store, gift and specialty shops, and a large marina. All of this is within a mile and a half of our condominuim.

Why the Owner Chose Cowpet Bay
We spent our 30th anniversary with our family in St. Thomas and fell in love with the island. After visiting many other islands, we returned a year later looking for real estate. We stayed at the Elysian and realized the location on island, beach, facilities, and condos couldn't be beat. The rest is history.

The property is very well maintain. On site there are two great restaurants, a convenience store, a beautiful uncrowded palm tree lined beach, a large swimming pool with hot tub and pool bar, a tennis court, an exercise room (fee), a beauty/health spa (fee), and a sports rental equipment hut.

Susan and Rick Taylor live in Wilmington DE, where they were born and raised, after spenting 15 years in Tulsa OK. We have three married daughters and three grandchildren, who were all born in 2008.

Great Week. Family of four from Philadelphia came down with two other families who stayed on Cowpet Bay also. Love the view from the roof. Spent plenty of free time up there. Visited 1) Charlotte Amalie – spent too much $$$, 2) Megan’s Beach – great after cruise ship crowd leaves, 3) New Horizons tour – past St John to Tortola, dove off Willy T’s boat, had lunch at Pirate Cove, snorkeled Yost Van Dyke, etc.. Restaurants: Robert’s, Ainsley’s, Molly Malone’s, Mims, etc.. Your place may have one of the better views on the island. The week went way too fast. If possible, we’d like to get back in two years. Most importantly, you’ve got everything we needed right here. Our best vacation ever. We’ll certainly miss the morning view.

We’ve had a great week here in your beautiful condo. My folks came with us and we’ve had plenty of room. You’ve done a great job furnishing the condo. We rented a car, jeep, and it was perfect! It took a day to learn to drive on the left but then it was fine. We even took the car barge to St John and it was great. We snorkeled at Trunk Bay and it was OK but then we continued to Miss Lucy’s for lunch, well worth the drive! The pool was really nice too. We definitely will come again.

Another great trip to St Thomas and your beautiful condo. This year, a trip to Virgin Gorda Baths on Limnos V and a private 24’ speedboat to many BVI locations including Jost Van Dyke were the highlights! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us and we look forward to returning next year.

The condo is great! It was perfect for the six of us. We enjoyed Sapphire Bay, Trunk Bay Beaches, and Coral World. Taking the car experience on the ferry was an experience, next time I would take the ferry and taxi on St John. Driving was good. Congo Cay Jaws one night dive. We used Chris Sawyer and were very pleased. Parasail at Sapphire was fun. Breakaway boat to Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke was a blast. Can’t wait to come back for fun in the Sun!
