Exceptional 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with indoor spa, new Panasonic plasma HDTV, pool table, air hockey, ping pong, & high speed wireless internet. 2200 sq. feet of living space. Only 4 blocks from Snow Summit Ski Resort and RIGHT across from the free ski shuttle for both Big Bear ski areas.

This inviting home is beautifully decorated and roomy with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and includes a carpeted lounge/gameroom area and a separate cedar-paneled spa room with forest views opening to the rear deck for outdoor cooking and dining. Our private lot provides beautiful mountain and forest views from almost every window.

*The 'Great Room' kitchen, dining area and family room with newly installed wood floors, clean burning gas log fireplace (no firewood needed) all have vaulted cedar paneled ceilings and are perfect for entertaining.

*Enjoy our new leather sofa and 2 reclining chairs, perfect for relaxing with a good book by the fire. We also have a new Panasonic plasma TV with movie channels, antique roll-top desk for your laptop, a 90+ video library, multiple board games, playing cards, books, magazines and puzzles.
*The kitchen has a built-in 6 person breakfast bar and includes oven, cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, trash compactor, waffle iron, crock pot, blender, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, and pots/pans. Perfect for preparing meals of any size.
*Our spacious master suite with private bath has beautiful vaulted cedar ceilings and opens to a balcony with mountain and forest views. King size oak bedroom set has new down comforter. Cable TV with VCR and DVD player & stereo w/CD.

IDEAL LOCATION
We are located in one of the most desirable and convenient neighborhoods in Big Bear, just 4 blocks to the slopes and RIGHT across from the ski shuttle pick up for Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski areas.
We are a short walk, bike ride or drive to all attractions in the Big Bear Area. We are walking distance to Starbucks, Vons Supermarket, restaurants, shops, Blockbuster, the lakeshore, miniature golf, and Meadow Park with swimming beach, tennis, sports fields, fishing pier, picnic tables and play structure.
The free public MWD East Boat/Jet Ski Launch Ramp is only a mile from our door.
We are just a block to Elevations Day Spa, the excellent Big Bear public library and a "day use" fitness center. Take a stroll to the lakeshore through our upscale (and not hilly) neighborhood dotted with beautiful old-growth pines. And despite all these conveniences close by our area is quiet.
Take a 5-10 minute bike ride from our door to the tree-lined 3 mile paved "Alpine Pedal Path" along the shore of beautiful Big Bear Lake. Stop and enjoy the informative Big Bear Discovery Center and the numerous trails for all levels of hiking. No bike? Rental shop is only 2 blocks away.
For mountain biking Big Bear is hard to beat. We are central to a network of trails for riding of all levels. And don't miss riding down a choice of great trails from the top of Snow Summit Sky Chair, rising 1100' above the valley floor.

Why the Owner Chose Eagle Point
Big Bear is still one of the most underrated resort destinations in the West. It offers year-round outdoor recreation (including 2 ski resorts) in a gorgeous location and is only 2 hours from the major population centers of Southern California. Big Bear reminds us of Lake Tahoe but without the long drive, excess commercialism, high prices and congested roads. We love that we have Snow Summit Ski area right up the street, access to the hiking and biking trails a few blocks away, access to the lake for cruising, water sports and fishing just a few blocks away and have our beautiful neighborhood with stately homes to stroll in. It is all right our door.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Eagle Point Retreat offers all the comforts of home and more. We often hear these two comments: "It does not feel like a rental" and "The pictures do not do it justice". We agree. We love this house and work hard to keep it top shape. The home has the unique attributes of being both warm and cozy yet roomy and spacious. We also love the location right in the heart of the Big Bear Valley.

My friend and I stayed here the last weekend in January 2012 and by far the house is awesome. Its got everything you need and more. Personally I love how close it is to everything. Grocery store 2 blocks away and the Snow Summit is right up the street. I would highly reccommend this beautiful home. You will not be dissapointed. P.S. Don't forget to turn the water heater on or you might find yourself in a very cold shower!!!

We rented Gary's beautiful property over the Thanksgiving holiday (2011) for a family get together. After renting from an agency the previous year, we were thrilled to deal only with the property owner. Our stay went without a hitch, which is always a pleasure. The owner, Gary, was also a pleasure. Dealing with him was easy and he was always available for any questions we had. Gary even called us on Thanksgiving to make sure there were no problems! The home as you can see is beatiful, stocked with everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday. The property is level, important in the winter, and near just about anything you need. Within walking distance to a park, Von's, Stater Brothers, KMart, CVS, Wallgreens, and a host of restaurants. I will look no further if we rent again, thank you to Gary and his family. I highly recommend Gary's two properties if you're looking for a rental in Big Bear Lake.

Our group of 10 had an amazing time at this house. We all had different needs and interests (hot tub, cable tv, etc) and the Abrams' home exceeded everyone's expectations. It felt like a home away from home. Thank you again for helping make our trip to Big Bear so memorable.

We stayed at this beautiful home with friends to celebrate the New Year and had a wonderful time! The house is conveniently located close to the slopes and right across from the shuttle stop so it was easy to get to the mountain each day. We also enjoyed all the games and activities at the house from pool to ping pong to the variety of board games. The house was wonderful and very well maintained and the owners went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one and they were always available to answer questions and help make our stay a wonderful experience. I would definitely reccomend this home for anyone looking for a nice place to enjoy some time in Big Bear as it is close to everything, the slopes, the lake, town, restaurants, and we found some fun sledding hills too! Thanks for everything, we look forward to returning again soon!

Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your Big Bear home. We arrived just hours after Mother Nature gave us 12 inches of powder, and were delighted to find the driveway plowed and the steps treated. The location is ideal, close to the grocery store, just down the road from skiing, and near all the fun shops. The home itself is clean, warm, and fully stocked to the last detail. Lots of attention to those small things that make the difference between a house and a home. I spent a lot of time investigating properties at Big Bear before choosing Eagle Point, and we clearly make the right choice. This home is good for families and adults traveling together. Oh, and the owner is very responsive via email, which is important in my book! We had a lovely stay--thank you!

This was my first time renting a house for a family weekend outing. I was very pleased throughout the entire process. The booking and confirmation procedure was worry free and well explained by Gary. The house was exactly as described and more. My entire family was very pleased by all of the amenities that the home offers. The kids really enjoyed the large selection of games and movies. The street and area around the home were very quiet and there was hardly any vehicle traffic going down the street. Very close to the shopping center and is a short drive to the village. The house is very well maintained and is beautiful inside and out. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking to visit the Big Bear area and wants to stay in an awesome, very well equipped home that is close to everything that Big Bear has to offer.

We just finished our 6th year in a row staying at this house and the one across the street, staying with 20 women who have been friends for more than 20 years. We used to move around to different places every year, but once we found these two houses on Andes lane, we've been super happy. Everything we need for a great weekend, great accomodations and kitchen materials and very responsive owner. Can't wait to extend it to year #7.

My husband and I are huge fans of the Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead and stay usually in resorts. But we have been talking about renting a cabin for awhile. For our first experuence renting, Eagle Point Retreat met our expectations! The cabin was exactly as the listing had described. It was cozy, inviting and very clean and well-maintained! We had to do absolutely nothing but bring groceries! We were even welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine. Gary and Mara were great in answering all our questions and concerns in a timely manner. We definitely will be recommending Eagle Point Retreat to friends and family. We will be looking into renting again!
