Magnificent contemporary house situated on Mount Sutton, Quebec. This luxurious home is offered fully furnished and completely equipped including (in summer) a heated in-ground swimming pool.
We hold The Quebec Tourists Board 4 star rating for accommodation, and a certificate as an approved Quebec Cycling Association 'Bienvenue Cyclistes' property.
The property is a no-smoking environment (except for the BBQ!)
The house is in an ideal spot for a whole range of activities and outings depending on the season: the property is actually on one of the Mount Sutton alpine ski slopes, and one can downhill ski in and out from the door.
Within moments there are the Sutton en Haut cross country ski trails and Arbre & Arbre ( a fantastic tree top adventure land with safe courses at different ability levels) and the famous and beautiful, Rochers Bleu Golf course.
La Route Vert (The Green Road) also runs through Sutton, which is a safe cycling road and the American Cup cycle race is also held in Sutton every year.
The house is also only ten to fifteen minutes from Bromont and Knowlton and the beach and marina's on Lac Brome. Half an hour from Granby Zoo and Water-Park, Orford, Owlshead and Jay Peak just across the border in Vermont. It's about an hour from Montreal and Burlington, Vermont.
This home is off the road, very safe and nestled in the woods with spectacular mountain views.
There are interesting museums and galleries, great shopping, fine restaurants, restos and pubs in Sutton and Knowlton and all around the district.
The house is virtually on one of the famous PENNS hiking trails which run for 83 Kilometres around the mountains (where one can gaze at the numerous white tailed deer, Cardinals, Goldfinches, Blue Jays, Northern Flickers, Wood Peckers of many varieties, Humming Birds, and many many other fantastic birds.)
A huge abundance of wildlife awaits you here with a night sky so clear that you can try to count the stars in the Milky Way.
The eastern townships (Estrie) are also famed for their many Arts, and their Fine Crafts in Wood an other materials. They are also famous for the vinyards and apple orchards. Ice Cider and Ice Wine are local specialities especially enjoyed with Brome Lake Duck and Foie Gras (all only minutes away from our door).
This home comfortably sleeps ten people. You will be charmed by its unique architecture, and amazing views.
