A wonderful relaxing family vacation

We just returned home from a wonderful 2 week vacation in this condo. The owner and Tanya in the rental office were wonderful and easy to deal with. At first, I was skeptical that the office doesn't accept credit card payments, but everything went extremely smoothly. The owner has made many beautiful updates to the unit..the kitchens and bathroom are all beautifully tiled with granite countertops, new mirrors and lighting. It was spacious for a family of four and had amazing gulf views. There were pool and beach toys for the kids to use and they were tickled that they had a TV in their own bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed with the exception of bbq accessories (lighter, grill tongs etc) and you should bring your own hair dryer. Overall, the condo was very clean, exceptionally maintained and modern. I loved the screened in balcony and enjoyed having a glass of wine and doing a puzzle. The people in the building are generally older and were very kind and receptive to our young children (ages 3 and 6). The kids loved the pools. There were two pools one small round shallow pool for kids and an adult pool . There are adult only swim hours between 11-12 and 3-4 that were pretty strictly enforced. There were plenty of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas...great for sunbathing as the pool was very sunny with little shade. The beach access is a short 10 minute stroll (with kids) so we would usually pack up the car and drive 2 mins with our beach chairs, coolers, etc. The beaches are FANTASTIC..shallow, guarded, safe, shells, slight waves for fun and white powder sand. We loved everything but the salt water (my kids are used to big Ontario lakes). We went to the Mote Aquarium (best Aquarium ever) and ate at Salty Dog's across the street, St. Armand's Circle, a sunset curise on LeBarge (kids danced the night away), danced Ragae at the Tiki something by Marina Jacks, went to the original Hooters?!? and toured the various beaches around the keys. We really enjoyed our drive up Casey Key and staring at the houses from the lifesytles of the Rich and Famous. We also had MANY icecream cones in the Siesta Key village & wonderful breakfasts at the BROKEN EGG. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing vacation and loved Siesta Key and Sarasota so much we're thinking of moving there permanently. In the event that we don't, we wouldn't hesitate to stay or recommend this unit in Harbour Towers...it was the perfect place for our family.
Owner response:Thanks very much for the kind review. Glas you enjoyed your vacation.

We had a great stay in Siesta Key and we'll be back at this Condo. The owner's desription and photos tell the story. The beds are nice as are the washerooms. Everything is new and well kept including the kitchen and that made a difference for us. The condo as well as the entire building property (pool, etc) are clean and well kept. Trevor answered our every question and had some good suggestions. We were a little lazy and drove the 2 minutes to the to the free parking at the beach as we had the chairs and cooler however if you wished to walk, it is less than 10 minutes and 2 of those minutes are walking accross the large beach to the water. Our favourite feature was the beach! Let's not forget the warm clear water. The Siesta Key village is also up there on the list so don't forget to Google that to see the spots to visit and have a drink. This is a condo you treat with care as if it was your own because you want to given the pride of ownership clearly displayed everywhere.

Absolutely outstanding! Siesta Key is a wonderful, quiet, location. The condo is beautifully decorated with great views and cool breezes because it is on the top floor. Now that we have found a relaxing, easy to get to place on the gulf I look forward to staying again and again!
