Sophisticated and stylish, this gorgeous home has it all. Newly redecorated in a contemporary look with a tropical flair, the home is located on the “Spreader” canal, which is the large canal that runs along the western perimeter of Cape Coral. Across the canal, your “backyard” is the Matlacha Wildlife Preserve.
You will not be looking across the canal at other homes, you’ll be looking at Florida as it was decades ago; beautiful, natural and abundant in birds. You will enjoy the breathtaking sunsets every night from the privacy of your own pool.
The large open floor plan with the vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans provide an open and airy feeling. The living room offers a LCD/HD 45” flat screen TV with home theatre surround sound, a DVD player and a stereo system with exterior speakers.
If the nights should get cool, there is even a wood-burning fireplace. The cosy den is a perfect place to curl up with a book, or use the wireless high-speed internet service and surf the web on your laptop. There is a separate formal dining room for those special evenings. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and a dining area which has a view of the pool, the canal and the mangroves of the wildlife reserve, just like the living room and the two bedrooms.
This is a four-bedroom and three-bath home sleeping 8 people comfortably. There are three bedrooms and two baths located on the south side of the house, the main bedroom on the opposite facing north. All bedrooms are equipped with TV/DVD, two have a sliding door walk-out to the pool deck.
The main suite has a direct connection to the large bathroom, as well as a walk-in closet.

What a villa, as experienced travellers to Florida we have stayed in all sorts of accommodation. This villa has to be one of the best if not the very best. It has everything you could possibly want to enhance your holiday in the Cape Coral area. From the moment we arrived we were bowled over by the surroundings. The canal that is just outside the pool area has all sorts of wild life swimming in it. You could see anything from manatee's to dolphins and the the occasional alligator. It is also teaming with fish. The peace and tranquillity of the area has to be experienced to be really appreciated. We are returning next year which is a first for us as we tend not to return to the same villa, words really fail to share the experience, the owners photos say a thousand words. highly recommend a visit.Did you find this review helpful? This property is set in a beautiful, peaceful location with all the amenities you need very close by. Sitting outside by the pool having dinner, listening to the nature around you and watching the sun go down with the kind of skies you only see photos of in magazines was a perfect evening for us. You can expect a high standard of cleanliness, and the furnishings and fittings include, extremely comfortable beds, quality linens, towels etc and the latest in technology with LCD TV's and wifi. The piano is a luxury bonus. We hired the boat while we were there which added to the whole lifestyle experience and would recommend this to others with the suggestion that you make sure you have a good nautical map and understanding of the area before setting out due to the shallow areas and manatee zones where you need to be careful of your speed and depth (depth metre on the boat helps guide you). In summary, everything you need for a luxury vacation is here and the owners Timo and Tanja couldn't have been more helpful. We can't wait to go back! If you are looking for a place where you can totally relax, enjoy the sun and while away the hours by the creek, fishing, sipping chilled Chardonnay, watching eagles soar and dolphins dip and dive as the sun sets - this is the place for you. The house is ideally situated - not far from lots of things to see and do - but set away from the busier areas of Fort Myers and Port Charlotte. We really loved sitting out on the boat dock watching the sun set like an artist’s palette. The perfect end to a perfect day. The house is pure luxury - everything you could ever need in a holiday home. The pool area is large and secluded and the dining area outside also is a real bonus with a gas BBQ. The music system extends to the outdoor areas and allows you to listen to music of your choice whilst relaxing in the warm pool. We returned to the house for the 4th time this year. Being able to rent a boat from the owners was a real treat for us this and we enjoyed getting out and about on the water and being able to access the Gulf following an excellent orientation session from Bill. We never stray far, as the house offers such a relaxing opportunity but if you really have to get out - we would recommend trips to the beach at Boca Grande and Captiva, a visit to the Icehouse pub in Punta Gorda and we have done a day trip to Key West by Catamaran from Fort Myers. We also used the two bicycles in the garage to take the short ride over to Matlacha and explore some of the small shops and galleries. There is a good network of cycleways in the area. There's lot of choice of places to eat and drink in the area. There is a good Sunday brunch at Portobello's at Burnt Store Marina which is not far (either by car or boat!) We also visited Pizza Bella and Micellis at Matlacha as well as Maria's in SE Cape Coral. The new owners of the property are excellent to deal with, very responsive and friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They made contact to check that all was in place when we arrived at the house and a local agent in the neighbourhood is on hand if there are any problems. We have found the perfect place for the perfect holiday. This villa is so relaxing, has everything you need and is perfectly located. How soon can we get back there .............?Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We have stayed here twice, once for a month and again for 2 months. This is a beautiful home, nothing is lacking, it has it all. A wonderful, private location on the spreader canal. Less than 30 minutes to Matlacha by boat. Beautiful sunsets, beautiful sunrises, great fishing from the dock and now, a boat to rent. An excellent home to relax and unwind, for a week, a month, or more.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

Wir können uns unseren Vorrednern nur hundertprozentig anschließen. Wir waren 2 Wochen in dieser wunderbaren Villa und haben jede Minute davon wirklich genossen! Das Haus an sich mit allem drum und dran lässt erst einmal überhaupt keine Wünsche offen. Man fühlt sich zu Hause, sobald man die Tür reinkommt. Es ist alles sehr schön und modern eingerichtet, und es fehlt an absolut nichts. Aber dann der Blick hinten raus. Der ist so fantastisch, dass wir uns gar nicht dran satt sehen konnten!!! Kanal und Naturschutzgebiet mit Vögeln, Schweinen ... und vielem mehr. :) Es ist himmlisch ruhig, man hat keine Nachbarn und ist ganz für sich allein. Es ist genau das, was wir wollten, und unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht nur erfüllt, sondern bei weitem übertroffen! Hier muss man sich einfach wohl fühlen. Wir hatten die vollen 2 Wochen auch das Boot dazu, und wer das Gefühl nicht kennt, der sollte es einfach versuchen. Es ist unvergleichlich schön, übers Meer zu brausen, dabei Delfine zu sehen und es sich einfach gut gehen zu lassen. Mit dem Boot an einem Restaurant anzulegen ist immer wieder was Besonderes und kein Vergleich mit dem Auto. :) Hier besonders schön: "The Waterfront Restaurant" in St. James City auf Pine Island oder "Gramma Dot's" auf Sanibel. - Überhaupt sollte man unbedingt auch mit dem Auto nach Sanibel und Captiva. Diese beiden Inselchen sind einfach nur ein Traum!) Wir waren vor 2 Jahren im stärker bebauten und mehr besuchten Süden von Cape Coral. Hier im Norden jedoch ist alles sehr viel ruhiger, beschaulicher und urtümlicher. Wer nicht nur Leute um sich braucht, sondern gerne für sich ist und die Natur genießt, der sollte - nein, der MUSS - hier her, und nur in die Villa Lagoon. :) Und wenn wir wieder nach Cape Coral kommen, dann natürlich auch nur in Villa Lagoon. :) Fast allabendlich hat man die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge, die man sich vorstellen kann. Es ist, als ob jemand im Himmel die Lichter eingeschaltet hätte. Mit Worten kann man es einfach nicht beschreiben - es ist richtig kitschig-schön. :) Zum Schluss noch einmal unseren ganz herzlichen Dank an die Eigentümer, die uns auch von Deutschland aus so super nett betreut haben und immer gefragt haben, ob auch alles in Ordnung ist und wir uns wohl fühlen. Es hat Spaß gemacht mit Euch. :) And last but surely not least: thanks to the property manager for everything! You're a darling and it was so nice meeting you! :)"Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.
