North Hutchinson Island is a barrier island on the Atlantic Ocean just south of Vero Beach, Florida. The island consists of about 3300 acres of which only 1300 are developed. Thus you have the best of both worlds by being in a low traffic area but close to major cities with great shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
