Very clean and well organized! Loved the decor! The kitchen had everything we needed even two dishwashers which was a great plus. It was great having seating for all around the table and bar... perfect for the 19 of us, ages 8 to 98. Having the 7 bedrooms each with it's own bathroom was a luxury. We enjoyed all the games, bikes, hottub, videos, PS2...what a fun time! The owners were very easy to work with and we would definitely rent this house again.

Our two families have been spending time together for many years, 30 plus. First as two young families with little kids growning up and full of energy. How time goes by. Our two families have grown with new grand kids hatching left and right. The Lazy G Lodge has given our extended families the room and privacy needed, and Sunriver has given us the activities that keep us young. We have nothing but good to say about the home, it's GREAT. Absolutely fabulous house!

We had a group of 4 couples and 7 children that stayed in this house for an extra long weekend (4 nights). It was fabulous! From the minute you walk in the door, you feel the peace and tranquility of the house. It is so relaxing! The decor is tasteful and woodsy, and the colors are subtle and calming but definitely not drab. We never felt cramped in this house - it had plenty of space for everyone! From the 7 bedrooms (3 of which are on the first floor), each boasting their own full bathroom and TV, and very comfortable beds (confirmed by two people in our group with bad backs), to the large kitchen and HUGE dining table. I am a bit of a gourmet cook, and I never felt like I was missing anything in the kitchen - it is incredibly stocked for large groups! From the large electric griddles, huge juice pitchers, two refrigerators, two belgian waffle makers, and serving platters/bowls, to the endless number of plates and glasses (both in breakable and plastic for the kids/outside) - and all washable in the TWO dishwashers!! The pantry was even stocked with basics like spices, veg oil, foil, plastic wrap, etc. We also enjoyed using the gas bbq and large covered table on the deck (and don't forget the huge hot tub!) Everyone had so much fun using the ping pong table, air hockey table, and foos ball table in the garage - and there were bikes and helmets for the people who didn't bring theirs! We also enjoyed the daily visits of deer, raccoons, and squirrels! They also had a very helpful notebook put together with information about Sunriver, the house, and the general area. The quality and cleanliness of this house was top-notch, and the owner was easy to work with! I would definitely recommend it!!!

Perfect for large groups

The Lazy G Lodge is extremely well-equipped for a large reunion. Each of the 7 bedrooms has its own private bathroom. The dining table fits a big group, and there are extra folding tables and chairs if needed. We particularly appreciated the two dishwashers! The kitchen has just about any appliance or cooking tool that you might need. We never ran out of dishes or silverware, and the house was well-stocked with extra paper towels, soap, etc. This is a great rental for families with kids -- between the bikes & helmets, pool passes, foosball, air hockey, and DVDs... there was plenty to keep them entertained.

This was our second year staying at this wonderful house. Our group had 15 Adults and the 7 bedrooms gave us all the privacy we needed. The ping pong, foosball and air hockey brought out the kid in our 50+ year old group. This house has everything you will ever need for the best vacation ever.........Thanks again

What a wonderful home! Our family came from all over the state to celebrate my 50th birthday - there were 16 of us from the age of 3 to 70+. It was so nice to find a home that had three bedrooms on the main level. Not only that, but everyone was so happy to have their own bathroom! The bedrooms with bunks were very handy for those family members with young ones. As we walked in, I remember thinking that the pictures were good but the reality of the size and decor was so much better in person. The house was very clean and you could tell that it is well taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked - everything you could think of was there! We were within walking distance of the minimart and Fort Rock Park and there were plenty of trails to walk and bike ride around. We all enjoyed watching the deer and squirrels in the backyard also. We will definatley be back.

We were greatly impressed with the quality of this house. The owners were well organized and easy to deal with. The house reflected there dedication to detail as the house had everything we thought we needed...and then some. Finding larger homes to accomodate 7 couples is certainly difficult. This lovely home made you feel like you still had your own space despite the number of people staying. Our family takes an annual vacation to Sunriver. We can see renting this house every year moving forward.

I can only echo all of the comments already made regarding this spectacular home. Our family of 4 generations (16 of us ages 89 to 3) enjoyed a very special Christmas at the Lazy G Lodge. The configuration of the bedrooms with their own bathrooms was perfect for all(3 on main floor and 4 upstairs), the great room was large and comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and was great for preparing Christmas dinner. The house is full of amenities - including 2 card tables and folding chairs - 1 for puzzles and one for pinochle - both of which were in use almost all the time! This is by far the nicest, most well provisioned home we have stayed in in over 25 years of coming to Sunriver. We will most certainly recommend this home to friends and hope to come back again soon.

We spent our last week of summer vacation at this marvelous lodge. The home was well stocked with appliances and incredibly well organized. We had a total of five families and everyone had plenty of space. We highly recommend this property and hope to have the opportunity to stay at the Lazy G again.

Golf Trip Organizer Gives Lazy G Lodge 5 Stars

I organized a Sunriver trip for 8 golfers and needed a large house to accommodate a gang that was not interested in sharing bedrooms. The seven bedrooms and 7 1/2 baths did the trick. The house was spacious, well stocked, and even included a hot tub and games for more post-golf competition (table tennis, foosball, and air hockey). The perfect house for a large group. Best one we've rented in 10 years of trips.

I needed to take the time and comment on our stay at Lazy G Lodge...it was outstanding!!! There was a large group of us, various ages, and interests. Gordon Gales home accomodated us so well. We are had a superb time for 5 days. Our family from CA came up and were all so impressed with EVERYTHING right down to the detail. The Gales have not missed anything. This home is in our top 2 for Sunriver homes, and we've rented at least 25 homes over the years. It is tastefully decorated with good quality bedding and towels. The kitchen is well equipped and supplied with all basic needs, plus. Numerous DVDs and CDs, all listed and categorized. We could find no faults!

GREAT HOUSE! Everything was as advertised and more. This house is the most organized, well equipped house we have rented in Sunriver and we have been coming down 3 or 4 times a year since 1989. 9 guys on a ski/golf trip, plenty of room to relax and enjoy Sunriver. We'll be back.

This is an amazing home that is perfect for any large group. We bring our college golf team down annually to kick off our season and it is always the best trip of the year! The quality of the home and thoughtfulness of the layout and amenities is incredible. It seems that they have thought of everything and it is clear that the owners want you to enjoy yourself while you are here. Thanks again for the chance to spend a week in your beautiful home!!

The Lazy G Lodge was definitely the nicest vacation rental we have ever had. The home was so well equipped (2 dishwashers, games, etc.) and well labelled (even the light switches)that it didn't take long to feel right at home. It was beautifully decorated, and it was a pleasure to stay there.

When we arrived, it was the first snow so everything was blanketed in a brand new white covering which made the trip there almost seem mythical, like straight out of a aesthetically beautiful movie. The community that the lodge is located happens to be a quaint little network of vacation homes nestled between mountainous ranges and hills and between forests of deep colored evergreens. The panoramic views will be worth every second of the time you take to look at them. The house is absolutely spacious and makes you feel like you're on vacation. The decor is of a country or mountain woodsy feel with soft natural colors and filled with super comfortable furniture. There's a huge T.V. for watching movies or playing video games. The kitchen has pretty much every utensil you'll need to make a complete five course meal from scratch, except for major ingredients, of course. The bedrooms are large and there's even a bunk bed in one of the rooms...It even has a T.V. and dvd player. The beds were all soft and comfortable. I had to test each of the beds out personally to figure out where I should sleep. If you're looking for a relaxing quiet time, this is the perfect place. However, if you're not big on quiet, within the confines of the house I doubt the neighbors would hear because the house is well insulated and so huge. This is a MUST EXPERIENCE place if you've never been to the mountains, woods, or a "quiet place" to spend time with special people in your life. This was well worth every penny we spent!

Our group vacations at Sunriver yearly, and the Lazy G Lodge was, by far, our favorite place to stay. The layout of this home, as well as the location, was perfect in accomodating our families. Quick bike rides in the morning to the Village for donuts and coffee. And evening bike rides to the North Pool were just as relaxing. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We just want you to know how much we enjoyed staying at the Lazy G Lodge this last week! It is one of the nicest properties we have been to for our family reunions over the last nine years. The home was so well equipped - you'd thought of everyhting that we might need. The bicycles were used often and the ping pong table was a hit. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck, too. We'd love to stay at the Lazy G Lodge again! Thank you.
