  Our family drove up and realized that we had stayed here 18 years before when we got married at Arch Cape Inn (formerly St Bernard's Bed & Breakfast) . . . what a wonderful way to spend our visit. Home is well maintained and DOG friendly which is a must! Waking up every morning to the magnificent views then walking a few steps to the beach was wonderful for us all! Upper level main area is perfect! Backyard is well maintained and again, perfect for sitting after dinner to relax while your teenagers sit and relax in the hot tub - literally they put their heads back and just relaxed - Summer vacation has begun! Thanks to the owners for making this a wonderful welcome surprise return with ease of communication, clear instructions and being so very understanding when I emailed saying we left food in the fridge - sorry! We will make this our place to stay when we return to Arch Cape!!!

  My husband and I and our two dogs spent the week at this wonderful house. Excellent and functional upstairs living with beautiful views from the living room, dining area, and kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to make great meals while watching the waves.Well maintained back yard with hot tub. Beach access 1/2 block away. Excellent and easy communication with the owners. Don't miss out on this charming place!

  My family went down in April spring break and it was a great house with everything that we needed. Super close to the beach! 5 min drive to cannon beach town and haystack rock! Very cool place!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

  My hubby and I stayed here for a few days and nights in the first week of October. We enjoyed the clean spacious kitchen for making breakfasts, the beautiful views, and the cozy fireplace! Because it was just the two of us, we each had our own bathroom for getting ready, and had lots of space for enjoying our relaxing get-away. The hot tub was wonderful each evening; we could hear the crashing waves and gaze at the star-filled sky, but still felt private. Arch Cape is in a great location, close to Hug Point, a scenic drive into Cannon Beach, and Arch Cape's own beach is beautiful and peaceful and so handy to the cottage! This house is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking, dining, sleeping, etc. Just remember to bring your own axe or hatchet, and your own source of music (cd player or ipod dock). Everything else is there! And email communication with the home-owners was responsive, helpful and friendly, even while we were at the cottage. We would highly recommend the following restaurants in near-by Cannon Beach; the Wayfarer, especially for their happy hour, Fultano's Pizza ( we ordered out and took it to the beach to watch the sunset) and Mo's for fish n chips! We are looking forward to coming back, and maybe bringing our family along next time!

  This house was exactly as described. The house is spacious and comfortably furnished, clean, and well maintained. We enjoyed the fenced and private backyard with hot tub. The house is in a wonderful location, has an excellent view, and direct access to the beach (150 feet away just like the description.) Communication with the property owner was very responsive and easy; very friendly and there to help. The Arch Cape beach is great. It seemed like a private beach when we were there because there were so few people on it. Excellent long walking beach with great tide pools at the south point during low tide. The access to both Cannon Beach and Manzanita was quick. There are two great markets in Manzanita to pick up supplies. I can't recommend this property enough. we will certainly return on our next trip!

  Arch Cape is really lovely and quiet. The cottage was great for our family as we had 5-8 people throughout the week. Everyone hit the hot tub after some good beach time. The fenced backyard was a plus and we had plenty of seating area for all our meals.
