We are also the new home for the spring training facility for the Tampa Bay Rays and Cal Ripkin's minor baseball team. The stadium is approximately 3 miles from Riverwood.
Our condo is located in the spectacular Riverwood Golf community. As you enter the security gate (24/7/365), you will notice the 4 1/2 star golf course, tall palms and the impeccably landscaped grounds. There are many lakes and ponds, bike/walking trails, sea birds and more. (We have a pair of resident bald eagles nesting a 1/3 mile from the condo). The main activity center has a 30 machine health club, large heated pool, library, game rooms, tennis, bocce, and croquet courts. There are no extra fees for you to use these facilities. Riverwood was built in a nature preserve area and the beauty of nature is all around.
For the avid golfer, The Riverwood course is a 4 1/2 Golf Digest rated course. There are 10 very nice courses within 10-15 minutes of the condo and another 20 courses, 25-30 minutes away. A full golf course list is in the condo.
Our fully furnished, 1770 square foot condominium offers two bedrooms, two baths, eat-in kitchen, family room, formal dining room, and den. The view from the lanai is spectacular with the 17th fairway below, acres of beautifully protected wetlands, the Myakka River and SUNSETS. There are very few units in Riverwood with the views we have. Inside is totally privite. (Nobody can see in). In the morning you might see our two river otters or a bobcat walking the course.
We provide all the "extras" not usually found in a rental unit. When we are traveling and will be in a unit for a period of time, we find oursevles needing a lot of extras.
Our extras are as follows:
Six extra pillows,not one or two, nighlights throughout, large candles and an emergency light just in case, 4 beach towels and a large beach umbrella, fishing poles and tackle box, a bucket, shop vac and hose to keep your vehicle clean, hair dryers, clock radios in both bedrooms and bathrooms and a lighted 10x make-up mirror. We have two small portable fans if needed. We supply the toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry soap, automatic dishwasher soap, dishwashing soap and facial tissue. Cleaning supplies and a tool box are also in the unit. We provide a new computer, printer and a 20" monitor. WiFi is in the unit. There is even a cable jack and TV for the lanai. A condo US mail box is avaiable for your transferred mail and a Post Office is 2 miles away
We have spared no expense to make your stay a pleasure. The location and our upgrades galore will leave you with "not wanting to leave."

25% deposit is required at time of reservation.
50% payment due 60 days prior to arrival. Full payment due 30 days prior to
arrival. Small pets are OK. Additional pet deposit will be required.
Check-in day time is 3 PM & Check-out day time is 9 AM.
