This home has it all! 2200 square-foot, three bedroom, two and-a-half bathroom, two-car garage, lake house. The home has a nice open floor plan that overlooks the lake, which has 50 feet of lake frontage. Private pier and fire pit provided. Enjoy the day and evening hours on the huge deck with supplied gas grill, or enjoy dining at several Bar/Restaurants on the lake. End the night at the bon-fire, roasting marshmallows and star gazing.
Lake Kegonsa is one of the four Madison Lakes: Lake Mendota, Minona, Waubesa, and Kegonsa. Lake Kegonsa is known to be the 'Best Kept Secret', because this lake is not accessible from the other three lakes, unless the locks are open. The lake boasts 3209 acres, and is more than 30 feet deep. Great for fishing, waterskiing, jet-skiing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, etc.
Since the lake is so large, with limited boat launches and public knowledge, boat traffic is limited. This makes for an enjoyable experience. Please beware, renting on this lake, may mean buying something on this lake one day. It is that nice!

This place was great! A beautiful, quiet lake so close to Madison it is unbelievable. I was expecting a cottage, when we arrived it was a nice well kept home. We are making plans to visit next year. Thank you.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
