The 1600-acre Minong Flowage is the second largest lake in Northwest Wisconsin. It connects by water to Cranberry Lake. Both lakes have a number of dining and beverage establishments. Public swimming is available on Sand Island, the county park, as well as off the dock. The flowage offers area for boating, water skiing, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, and many other water sports. The Minong Flowage has been rated as one of the top ten walleye lakes in Wisconsin. It also has great northern pike, crappie, pan fish, and bass fishing available.
Built in 2000, this home has a picturesque western sunset view. Two small islands located 200 yards from the dock create a wake free area which offers a quiet, private, vacation site. The main part of the lake can be entered through either of two eight-foot-deep channels.
The kitchen/living area (21 foot by 26 foot) features white ash wood floors, white ash car siding 3 foot up from the floor, with sheet rock extending to the ceiling. A beautiful gas fireplace is the center piece of the living room. It also features an open stairwell with white ash car siding. Living room has Direct TV (Minneapolis network channels) including HBO, DVD, and VCR players. Local Duluth channels are also available over open air signals. The spacious kitchen includes a microwave, refrigerator, and range. All cooking utensils are provided.
The master bedroom, similar to the living area, has ash wood floors, white ash car siding, and sheet rock extending to the ceiling. It also includes a 19-inch TV, two closets, and a chest of drawers with two large mirrors.
The house has spacious bathrooms both up and downstairs. There are two large bedrooms downstairs with dressers and closets. Both bedrooms are carpeted with red pine car siding on the walls. One downstairs bedroom has a TV and VCR. A third downstairs carpeted room has bunk beds.
A three season porch with four large windows offers a spectacular view of the lake and the western sunset. A futon, swivel rocker, TV, and VCR make for a relaxing atmosphere and/or reading room.
There is a paddle boat and 14-foot Lund fishing boat (with electric motor) available for your use at no additional cost. A new, 20-foot pontoon (less than 100 hours), 40 horsepower, four-stroke, Mercury engine for rent.
Hayward is 30 miles away with its many shops, restaurants, and fun for all. Duluth is 50 miles north with activities too numerous to mention. A day at Bayfield or Wisconsin's apostle islands is just an hour and one-half away.

Money Order or Cashiers Check accepted. Fall Rate: $1500/week.
Summer Rate: $1800/week with pontoon rental. $2000/wk without pontoon (Sat to Sat)
Pontoon Rental $700/week.
$500 Deposit required to hold reservation (to be applied toward rental fee).
50% of Deposit returned if cancelled 90 days prior, no refund less than 90 days.
$500 Damage Deposit upon arrival, refunded 2 weeks after stay if no damage.
Additional Charge over five people $30/day/person. 20' Pontoon rental $700/week.
Check In 3 PM; Check Out 9 AM.
