Whether you are interested in renting the main house which sleeps 10 comfortably or the entire compound, this property affords you space, comfort and convenience.
Our Home is IDEAL for the family and friends of the bride or groom. The dining room can easily host a small rehearsal dinner and our proximity to the Queen Anne Inn is a plus for additional guests!
The main house has a large living room, sitting room, and a family room so the kids have their space and adults have their's. The dining room has a large table which seats 12to 16 easily and can be extended with additional tables. There are four bedrooms, with the master on the first floor with his-and-her bathrooms! The second floor has three bedrooms (queen, double and single, and double and single) and two full baths.
The cottage which can be rented separately is a building on the property which affords convenience to the Main House as well as a bit of distance. The unit has a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath. Comfortably furnished, it sleeps 4 as the sofa in the living room is a pull out queen bed.
Whatever you choose, when you arrive at our home, you park your car and walk wherever you want to go.
This property is ideal for multiple families/small family reunions, wedding rehearsal dinners, weddings, you spend time but you are not on top of each other!

We have rented this house for several years in a row and have always had a terrific stay. The house itself is beautiful and full of charm and personality. The photos accurately portray the grounds and interior. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with cookware, silverware, glasses, etc. The house and environs are clean and well-maintained. We have had very easy communications with the owner, Betty, both in advance of our stays as well as during them if anything comes up. She has always been extremely helpful and gracious. We have used the house and cottage to host extended family and appreciate the spaciousness, both in the dining area of the main house and also outside. The grounds are terrific -- for playing ball, croquet, and having dinner outside. The inside of the main house is bright and cheery. Location-wise, it can't be beat. It is walking distance to Oyster Pond lake which is a great spot for young kids. And, walking distance to downtown Chatham and the Chatham A's games (and, adjoining playground). It's also a great starting point for countless walks/runs -- by the water, through town... We highly recommend this property!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
