My husband and I spent a long weekend in TN and had the pleasure of staying at the Lover's Lodge. The cabin is so cozy! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table the most. The gas fireplace is so pretty and the furnishings are comfortable. I hope we get the opportunity to visit again soon!

We came to lover's lodge for a four night weekend getaway and could not have been happier! The place is just lovely and the pictures do not do it justice! It was the perfect size for a couple and could've easily fit 4 people. We only wish we could've stayed longer! We will be back for sure!

Wonderful Get Away

We just spent 3 nights at this wonderful cabin and it was all that was promised and more!!!! The pictures do not do it justice. We celebrated our 20th anniversary in style!!! Once you get there you will not want to leave. We enjoyed the fireplace since we got a bit of snow!!!! It had been decorated with a small christmas tree and and other holiday decor. Very tasteful! All the ammmenities you could want and then some. Highly recommend this little piece of heaven to any one wanting to get away from it all and enjoy the quiet. Location was perfect for visiting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Steve was great to work with and look forward to returning again.

Secluded Cabin

As previous reviewers said, the road is very steep, but it is paved asphalt. We made it in a Mitsubishi Galant. I'd strongly suggest stopping at the Sky Harbor office and picking up a map of the division, it makes finding the cabin much easier. The cabin was all that was promised. Very secluded. Service was great. The TV was dead when we got there. After making a call, a new one was delivered and hooked up within 24 hours.Complete privacy. Two decks that are surrounded by tress. Close but not too close to Pigeon Forge. Convenient access to the Gatlinburg bypass, so you can get into the National Park without having to fight your way through Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are big on the tourist traffic, very crowded. We avoided these except to get groceries. The WIFI was a nice addition as we could send emails to check on things at home or check the internet for maps, park information, etc. We had a great time and would highly recommend this cabin.

This cabin is excellent. The listing is exactly what you get. The photos in the listing does not do it justice, it is much nicer in person. This cabin is in a nice secluded area and very close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We did wake up on a Sunday morning and the A/C had gone out in the night. I was a bit concerned as the forecast was for the upper 80's. NO PROBLEM......1 phone call, on a SUNDAY morning, and it was repaired pronto. Thumbs UP!!! Renting this cabin was hassel free and easy. It was really clean and serviced when we arrived. I cant think of a single flaw in our stay there. We will definatly be back. This trip turned into an unplanned honeymoon for us and this cabin is on our list of things to do again. NOTE - There is a Food City real close by, it is crowded and their prices seemed a bit high. Try and shop at Kroger in nearby Sevierville or bring plenty from home. Carinos Italian seemed to be the best value for a meal out, It was great, and if you leave hungry, there is something wrong with you. Great experience. We will be back to this cabin..2 thumbs up. I would give it 4 but I only have 2.

What a great cabin! The location is absolutely perfect, located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, it's a quiet and lovely escape! It's a steep climb up the mountain to the very top, but it's absolutely beautiful! The cabin is adorable, it's very roomy and comfortable. It's clean and has every modern convenience you'll need. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were more touristy than we expected, everything was very crowded and busy. (If you're military, remember to ask for a military discount everywhere, even for parking! The area is extremely military friendly and we save hundreds of $$ because of it!) It's perfect for a small family, not just honeymooners! Our kids loved the cabin and really loved heading back to it at the end of a long day of playing! Working with the owners was awesome, they were very kind and very helpful! Thank you for an awesome vacation! We highly recommend your cabins to everyone!

honeymoon retreat

my wife and i celebrated our honeymoon here and we loved it. The location is awesome, you are so close to gatlinburg and pigeon forge but yet you are on top of a mountain out a couple curvey roads and it feels like you are way out in the middle of nowhere. The lodge is the most comfortable setting and i dont think i would change anything. There are so many options when looking for a place to stay but if you are our age which is in our late 20's or if you are in your 60's this lodge is perfece for a couple of all ages. We love lovers lodge and we will be back next year!

Great hideaway in the hills

We stayed in this cabin in may and really enjoyed it. It was tucked away in the hills, but still close enough to enjoy tourist things. We really enjoyed star gazing while in the hot tub. The only bad thing I can say about this cabin was that the gas grill was not in great shape. I was a little too hesitant to use it so we baked our food instead. I would definately visit again. A great little get away for couples!

watch your weather

The cabin was beautiful and clean. The steep hills and roads make access to the cabin impossible if Any snow is on the road, so watch your weather. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towls so bring a good supply of those. We will visit this cabin again, just not in the colder or winter months.

Owner response:As stated in the policies, during the winter you may need a 4 wheel drive or chains. Also as stated, we supply starter soap, toilet paper and paper towels. If your stay is more than a couple days you will probably need to purchase an additional supply.

It is a gorgeous cabin. We enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely recommend your cabin for people to stay at if they are looking for a nice place. lovers lodge - superburb!

The Lovers Lodge met all of our expectations and some. It was a very cozy cabin that had all the amentities we needed to have a romantic weekend getaway. Will definitely recommend to others! The location and view were perfect. Due to the weather we weren't able to do many outside activities, but was able to accomodate by playing pool, watching movies or relaxing in the hottub. Plan to revisit soon!

A great vacation retreat!

Lover's Lodge was a great retreat for my husband and I. The cabin is located just between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge making it very convinent to all the activities going on but yet also on a wooded mountain feeling very secluded and private. We loved the hot tub's!!!! The cabin itself is decorated very nicely and is very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone.

This cabin is great! Located in a nice area which is private yet convenient. The bedroom is located in the basement...this can get pretty chilly on a cold winter night. The owners are very helpful as well with any problems. The pilot light for the fireplace had gone out...the owner contacted a repairman who had it going within an hour of my call. Good food nearby includes The Alamo in Gatlinburg...try the bacon wrapped shrimp! I would stay in this cabin again in the future!

Owner response:While I appreciate the reviewers positive comments and am glad he enjoyed his stay I would like to clarify one thing. The bedroom is not located in the basement. It is a 2 story cabin, built on the side of a mountain over a 10 foot high crawl space. The living area is on the main floor and the bedroom is downstairs with a carpeted wood floor. As with any two story home, since heat rises, the lower floor is cooler than the upper floor.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone, even a couple that has kids. We had a great time in Gatlinburg and hiking around in the National Park. Our overall experience their was an A+++. We will definitley be back one day.
