This cozy cottage is a stones throw (about 2 blocks) from Greensboro common and 4 blocks from the beach on Caspian Lake where you can swim, sail or paddle in the summer and ice skate or ice fish in the winter. In the summertime, a leisurely afternoon of antiquing or sightseeing on quiet back country roads or a stroll through the village await you. In the wintertime you can use the cross-country ski trail which slices through the back yard and connects with the Craftsbury Nordic Center and miles of trails. Downhill skiing is at its best in Stowe, just 1 hour away with many other ski resorts close by.
The house, not much larger than a postage stamp, has a small bedroom with twin beds, a larger "master" bedroom with queen bed, comfortable living room, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Best of all, it's only 2 blocks from Willeys, a well known Northeast Kingdom general store, The Miller's Thumb Gallery (open summer/fall only)where you can shop for locally created crafts, the town library, church and post office, and just another block or two to the beach. There is a small barn next to the house where bikes are stored.
