This cozy cottage is a stones throw (about 2 blocks) from Greensboro common and 4 blocks from the beach on Caspian Lake where you can swim, sail or paddle in the summer and ice skate or ice fish in the winter. In the summertime, a leisurely afternoon of antiqueing or sightseeing on quiet back country roads or a stroll through the village await you. In the wintertime you can use the cross-country ski trail which slices through the back yard and connects with the Craftsbury Nordic Center and miles of trails. Downhill skiing is at its best in Stowe, just 1 hour away with many other ski resorts close by.
The house, not much larger than a postage stamp, has a small bedroom with twin beds, a larger "master" bedroom with queen bed, comfortable living room, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Best of all, it's only 2 blocks from Willeys, a well known Northeast Kingdom general store, The Miller's Thumb where you can shop for local crafts, the town library, church and post office, and just another block or two to the beach. There is a picture-perfect barn next to the house.
