This exquisite condo is located in Edificio Praia “Beach Building”, a classic Avenida Atlantica art deco building with an elegant façade and a beautiful entry garden & lobby. Edifico Praia has been home to a former governor of the state of Rio de Janeiro as well as several French Consuls. The apartment has been featured in several architectural magazines over the years and in the last year has been completely renovated with central air-conditioning in the bedroom wing, as well as all the modern appurtenances of luxury accommodations. The building staff is extremely professional and friendly and, of course, there is a 24 hour doorman in the lobby.
The floor plan consists of approximately 2500 square feet of exquisitely decorated living areas, including approximately 80 linear feet of direct ocean front views from the living room, dining room, and two of the bedrooms. The apartment has a foyer, a formal living room, a formal dining room, a sitting room, three bedrooms plus maid’s quarters, 2 full bathrooms plus maid’s bathroom, and 2 separate service entrances in addition to the main entrance. The flooring is mostly rose onyx and Brazilian mahogany. Much of the furnishings are crafted of solid Brazilian imbuia wood. All beds have quality pillow top mattresses and comfortable pillows. The bathrooms feature bidets and new showers with constant flow gas hot water heater. The condo has custom made draperies and newly installed custom lighting systems throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped, including new stainless steel appliances, dishware, pots & pans; everything you need to prepare a meal, or have a private chef prepare one for you. This is a condo where you can entertain in style.
