Owner Description
Owner Glenn Wallace is a singer/songwriter who has toured the US for many years before settling down on Grand Island, NY. He has written a number of songs that have won National and International awards, and has performed in every State and a few other countries. Some well known Acoustic performers have even done performances at Glenn's home when they are in the area. He also has a stringed instrument collection that is displayed on the walls along with other antiques which give it a very warm and cozy feel that you won't get at any hotel and very few other home rentals.
Glenn restored 3 older homes in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area and so has put many years of his own work and loving care in his home on the Niagara River and it shows.
There are more amenities than you can imagine and it is the best lodging you will find in the area, and also the best location.
Why the Owner Chose Niagara Falls
Most people just do not know that Western New York has the best summers in the entire US.
Lake Erie and Lake Ontario tend to keep it a little cooler, so 70's, 80's are the norm but
90's are also commmon. However, it has never been 100 degrees, so we actually get to enjoy
the hot weather without being uncomfortably hot. Spring and Fall are also very enjoyable seasons here. And, winter? A little snow is no big deal, and if you ski or snow mobile it
is very nice. We don't have tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, or any of the other natural
disasters other regions of the country can experience.
Then for me, being on the Niagara River just makes this one of the best places in the world
to live. One thing I didn't consider before I began renting my home to guests, is just how much I would enjoy sharing my home with people all over the world or that I would make some good friends. So, whether you want to have a beer or sit by the fire and talk, or not, I am glad to open my home to you, welcome ! Glenn

A REFERENCE: " Our stay in the summer of 2003 was wonderful. The house is spacious and cozy, and all the ammenities are there. The pool, the hot tub, the fire pit, the dock, the river views were all added features. Laundry, phones, computers, T.V's and plenty of towels and a fully stocked kitchen made the stay even more enjoyable. We didn't want to leave!
