"Dear Sandra & Paul, Again we have had a wonderful week at La Veduta. The surroundings are so beautiful and there are so many interesting places to visit. And, it always felt really good to return and to drive up from Bagnoro to "our" cosy home. Thank you for providing such a welcoming place and for all the thoughtful preparations that made us feel at home - we enjoyed everything! This relaxing week was just what we needed after a stressful time. Thanks again and our best wishes to both of you. We hope we will be able to return again soon." Hiltrud & Henning, Hamburg, Germany

“Sandra & Paul, your warm hospitality and generosity have made our second stay in il Bacio just as special as the first visit five years ago! We've discovered some fascinating out-of-the-way places as well as revisiting some of our favourite towns. To just unwind and relax in your delightful garden is a treat in itself. Thank you both so much and with our very best wishes... ” James & Liz, Bedford, UK.

“We cannot imagine a more beautiful, precious and welcoming place to have celebrated our anniversary than with our trip to Italy and La Torre. To have made it in the dark from Milan (our plane was late....) driving through 32 tunnels and mountain roads to have found you here on the road with your flashlight - and a smile - and a chilled bottle of prosecco in the fridge - was the essence of hospitality. Of the many memorable trips you commended to us - the injunction not to miss the Holy Hermitage at Camoldoli was wise indeed. The drive up the Eremo through the huge pine forests and passed the rushing streams was incredibly beautiful - and the Eremo itself was inspiring. Continue flourishing in your great adventure... and you're both very very welcome in Boston any time!!” Timi & John, Boston, USA.

“Well, we arrived late because our ferry from Greece had been delayed ... but following Sandra's oncall advice we managed to get here in the dark! What a great place!! The ambience, the surroundings and the friendly 'feel at home' welcome from Sandra and Paul made our stay so enjoyable. We loved the cooking course and ate well for days!! Thanks for looking after us so well... and the fresh figs were delicious. Who knows if we will get the chance to pass this way again, but we hope so. ”

“What can we say? La Veduta is even better than we had hoped for and the setting is incredible. The cottage is lovely and the pictures do not do it justice. It's not only a romantic, comfortable villa, it also has all the conveniences required for cooking etc. We loved coming back after each day's touring to the peace and tranquility of our home away from home. Your advice and suggestions were so helpful and brought us to places we would not have found on our own. Our cooking class was great fun as well as a great learning experience, not to mention - delicious! Thank you for everything, hopefully we will be back some day." La Veduta is the perfect place to feel at home and explore Tuscany. The personal touches really make it a perfect home from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking course in the Tower with Sandra making some real delicious dishes, which we will recreate with pleasure and memories at home. A big thanks to Paul for cracking the walnuts early that morning (for the walnut sauce) and a bigger thanks to Vaz for his patience in waiting for his morning constitution walk. Appreciation also to Paul for getting us back on the road again after the flat tyre! Highlights of our trip were Cortona, Anghiari, Siena, Poppi, Monteriggioni, climbing the Duomo in Firenze (phew!) and seeing the open air museum, that is Rome. May the next 7 years bring you the same pleasure and more, as the last 7 have. Again many thanks…. Sara & Jon, Long Melford, UK.

“Thank you so much Sandra and Paul for sharing your wonderful home. The cottage was absolutely perfect and more...! The welcoming gifts from the fruit, wine, chocs etc. made the time extral special. Vaz too, added to our stay with the smile he brought every time he came up to visit. With our unexpected car situation came up - you said you'd make it work and you surely did...Thanks for all the cheerful and helpful rides down and on one very welcome occasion UP the hill!! ” Christine & Barry, Calgary, Canada.

“David and I were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary - and we found it here at La Torre! We have walked, talked, read, laughed, visited, shopped, eaten (!!!) drank (!!!) swam, and finally relaxed ... amidst the most beautiful and romantic of settings, under the bluest skies, and with wonderful hosts! La Torre è bella! fantastica and perfetto! Grazie per tutti! ”

“Thank you so much for having us here to share your beautiful home and gardens. It has been the most perfect setting for our honeymoon. The tranquility and peacefulness were just what we were looking for. We have loved our romantic dinners together in the beautiful cottage, soaking up the evening sunshine and enjoying each other's company. We LOVED the cooking course, what a fantastic day, we can't wait to go home and try out all the new recipes - we'll have an Italian evening for our friends. Thank you for making it so memorable and hopefully we'll be back for our anniversay :-)!” “Thank you so much for having us here to share your beautiful home and gardens. “Dear Sandra, Paul and Vaz. La Veduta felt like home as soon as we walked in. Your website picutres do not do it justice. The charm and attention to detail is exceptional - and your added touches, the rose, the chocolates, prosecco etc. were great. This was our thrid trip to Tuscany we will be back - here! The locaction has great access ... visited Greve, Montalcino, Siena, Florence and Cetona and had the opportunity to visit the antiques fair in Arezzo. Truly a great time,.. you have created a magical place. ps. Emily was never one for dogs but she has fallen in love with Vaz. Thanks for everything. ” Emily & Bruce, New York, USA.

“Our last holiday as a couple for a while (our first baby is due in the Autumn) and what could be more perfect than La Torre. After a week of travelling around by car (Opera in Verona, Lucca, Cinque Terra and Siena) we arrived here for peace, rest and relaxation. We had some hot and lazy days (although we don't think Paul and Sandra consider a 45 mins. run before breakfast every day to be lazy!!) After some hours of rest by the pool we spent the afternoons in Arezzo, Cortona, Poppi and Monterchi (a must for all Mums to be!) or just here in our lovely romantic house. Thank you Sandra and Paul for the warm welcome and the hospitality you have shown during our stay. We are sure we'll miss the heat when we go back to Norway (especially in January with up to -25oC!) ” Else & Preben, Oslo, Norway.

“When we were planning our trip to Italy, our son and daughter-in-law (Tim & Jen, page 3) suggested we spend a week at La Veduta. We are so pleased we did! We have really enjoyed our week here "Under the Tuscan Sun" and the occasional liquid Tuscan sun!! After our day trips exploring the beautiful countryside, we loved to return "home" for a relaxing glass or two of vino in the peaceful garden setting. "Ottimo!!" Wonderful memories to take home to Australia." Mary & Mike, Brisbane, Australia.

“ A third great stay at La Torre in three years! As always Sandra & Paul made us very welcome. After a day of rain when we arrived we had perfect weather, managed to swim most days and had several good walks. I explored the many footpaths on the map and some that aren't and have left two tracks for walks on Sandra's memory stick - one of 15 km. and the other of 9km. The latter I photographed all the junctions - so if you want to do the walks just ask Sandra for the route. Two weeks goes by much too quickly - got to Cortona, Assisi and San Gimignano and loved Poppi and now all too soon we are setting off for home. For anyone driving down from the UK,the route through Germany is much the best. So Sandra, Paul and Vaz thanks once again for having us as neighbours. Hope to see you again soon."
