We had a terrific time at Cape Meares. The beach was secluded and beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable and relaxing. I would reccomend it to anyone who wants a taste of the rugged Oregon coast.

We have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. The Cape Meares lighthouse, Oceanside and it's tunnel, Three Capes Cafe, Lincoln City, Rockaway Beach, etc. We loved touring the Tillamook Cheese Factory and Pioneer Museum. I think the best part was right here on the Cape Meares Beach - We saw live starfish at low tide, a huge dead stingray which had washed up on the beach and many beautiful rocks and interesting driftwood. We walked up the beach to the dunes and across to the Bay Ocean Spit and by the lake. This are is beautiful. Deer were in the neighbor's yard one afternoon and the walk into the forest was quiet and serene. Also, the weather was very nice - mostly. The house itself met and exceeded our expectations. Thanks for the cleanliness and the comfortable furnishings. We enjoyed our time here which was our very first visit to the Pacific Northwest.

We enjoyed our stay in Cape Meares. The Oregon Coast is simply beautiful and we all had fun hiking and exploring, playing on the beach, kiet flying, and eating. What a fantastically peaceful and relaxing location!

We had a great time at Cape Meares. This is the best place to be along the coast- no crowds and pure nature even in the summer. The house is very tasteful furnished and there is everything you'll need. We are already checking our calender to plan our next stay....!

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. You have a wonderful secret here. The beach and village are charming. We especially loved seeing a deer and a fawn in the yard. We loved exploring the tide pools and caves early in the morning. We loved the lighthouse and biking to the spit. We hope to come back one day and share it with others.

Four dads, two birthdays, no kids - missing them - but some time together - just us 48 year olds on the ocean was more important than another soccer game. Great weather, perfect house.

Great house, great views, great beach. We really enjoyed Cape Meares - beachcombing, hiking along the spit, through the dunes, and around the lighthouse. The house is comfortable, well equipped, conveniently located, and very clean. We had a lot of fun, and would love to return.

What an amazing week of weather to be enjoyed from your lovely home! We spent Memorial Day in Wine Country and the rest of the week walking a different beach each day. Reminds us of Mount Desert Island, Maine 45-50 years ago! Wildlife sightings have been a delight! Peace to you!

We had the priviledge of staying in this beautiful home for three nights. We hated to leave the peacefulness of both the house and the private beach. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the living room and spending time on the deck. We hope that Cape Meares will stay a secret. It truly was the most perfect weekend.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home is very comfortable and cozy. A very relaxing atmosphere. It was adequately supplied, close to town if needed, but still secluded. Cape Mears is untouched by tourist and I would visit again.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home. It was perfect for our visit. After staying in many areas up and down the coast, I believe that Cape Meares is, perhaps, a well-kept secret...hidden away from all the people and traffic, yet amazingly close to civilization. The short drive along the shoreline to get there was especially lovely, and the beach was delightful with lots of sand and great waves. We even found an agate or two and got some great pictures of the weathered driftwood left from the winter storm. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We would love to come again. We were so suprised by this beautifully appointed home. So many lights and well planned layout. The knotty pine, brushed nickel, and soft green accented the natural beauty of this coastal retreat. What a sweet and sleepy hamlet. We enjoyed playing scrabble and beach-combing with Mom & Dad. Also ate lots of crab, clams, prawns, scallops and salmon! We'd love to come again to see the banana slugs which have been hibernating.

The Blodgett Boys were in the house! We had a great time resting, playing games, cooking and eating, walking the beach, exploring the tidepools, balancing on the driftwood, making music, and catching up on our sleep. We'll be back, no doubt about it.

Our stay at Tranquillo by the Sea was wonderfully relaxing. We love the quiet community and the visiting elk who walked through the back yard at dusk one night. We cooked, we visited, we laughed, we slept, we walked by the sea...what more could we ask for?

We enjoyed our stay here, eight of us and three generations. Your house is beautiful with entertainment for all of us when we were not at the beach which extends for miles along the Bay Ocean Spit. An exciting place to be. Cape Meares is another nearby attraction. What majesty in the great waves dashing on the sands! The Oregon Coast remains one of the wonders of the world. Enjoyed the house very much. The master beedroom and the living areas are spacious and it is great that the house is new. We also enjoyed the area, particularly hiking Cape Lookout, and the beach only a couple blocks away.

We had three couples and a toddler here and had a terrific time! While there was plenty of inside things to keep us entertained, like the dozens of DVD's, wireless internet, and board games, we lucked out with sunny weather in February. With the beach only minutes away by foot, we hiked the up and down the beach, enjoyed beach combing and bird watching. It's a close to PDX get-away that's comfortable and reasonably priced. We'll be back again soon!
