We loved this house! It was a great location. The home was nicely equipped with everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, many pillows to choose from. The roof deck was AWESOME! We would definitely use this property when returning to Huntington Beach.

My family was very pleased with your vacation rental. It was very close to beach, only 10 min walk to downtown . It was very clean, kitchen/bath/bedroom were very well equipped. Many beach toys available. It was very spacious...we loved the rooftop sitting area and your patio was gorgeous. Each bedroom had it's own tv and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The owner was very prompt in returning my entire deposit.

Cozy Home in Huntington Beach

Our family had a great time at this adorable home in Huntington Beach. The location was perfect. Close to everything. The beach was just a block or two away. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Parking was easy too. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Family fun at Huntington Beach

We were two families travelling together around the US and spent a fantastic week here. We loved this house...it was immaculate and very well presented in a wonderful seaside theme. The location was great only 2 blocks from the beach and 10min walk to Main St shops and pier. There was ample parking for 2 cars, lovely courtyard with bbq and water feature. The bedrooms were a good size and all with built-in wardrobes, plenty of extra linen and towels. We made great use of the bicycles provided and rode to Main St for breakfast each morning....we even rode them as far as Newport Beach on one day - that was a great fun and added to our fabulous holiday experience!!! Our only regret was we didn't get to spend enough time relaxing in the house - we had so many things to do and places to see - a couple of extra nights would have been ideal!! We have vowed to come back one day and wouldn't hesitate staying here again. We felt very comfortable and safe here and recommended it to all our friends back home. We loved the house and everything about it. Thanks so much to L for providing such a beautiful holiday house and allowing us experience Hungtington Beach as locals.

Holiday fun at the beach!

Our family of 8 recently stayed at this house and we had a blast! There were 6 adults and 2 children and we were all very comfortable in the house. The location was fantastic! We took daily morning walks and bike rides to the beach and were a short drive to the supermarket. Huntington Beach is a great jumping off point for a Southern California vacation: during our week we traveled to L.A., Santa Monica, and San Diego. The house represents even better in real life! Linda was very helpful and attentive during our arrival and I highly recommend this home.

Very Enjoyable stay in this quaint beach house with our family over the holidays. Walked down to the surf with our kids and dog friendly beach. We biked or walked to Main Beach and Pier for lunch or dinner. Especially appreciated the beach gear, bikes and kids toys to use. Linda was a pleasure to do business with and would definitely rent the home again.

Beautiful Beach Retreat!

We spent a long weekend at Linda's home just a block away from the surf and sand of Huntington Beach. The house is beautiful, well appointed and comfortable. We were celebrating my mom's 80th birthday and there was plenty of room for all of us. We walked to the beach and to Main Street, where there were numerous restaurants to choose from. There were also lots of beach "toys" for kids and bikes for all ages. We could not have asked for a better location for our celebration!

We had such a good experience in Huntington Beach. The house is in a great location, a couple of blocks from the beach and a 10 minute walk to Main St and the pier. It's nicely decorated and full of every beach supply you'd ever need. We felt right at home! We are hoping to stay again next year, that's how lovely it was.

What a great place for a vacation! The home was perfect and so well equipped for a family get away. We enjoyed the bikes, stroller, wagon, etc. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was so close to the beach. We loved the decor with its antiques and beach theme. There were numerous great "finishing touches" to each room. The master bedroom and bath were large and comfy. The two other bedrooms were perfect with the large bathroom and vanity area. The full bathroom off the TV room was so convenient. We spent a lot of time out on the beautiful patio. The owner answered all our questions promptly and returned our deposit within a few days after our vacation. We definitely plan on returning to this great vacation spot!

Perfect Vacation Home for Family Getaway in Southern California

My family (which includes numerous little children, teenagers, etc) recently stayed at this home the week of 7/23/2011 - 7/30/2011. The home is extremely charming and we all simply loved it. the neighborhood is beautiful and there are numerous little shops, restaurants, etc within a short walk. The beach was even closer than we imagined. We were under the impression that it was "a few blocks away" but were pleasantly surprised that these are very short blocks and it is literally steps away. Every day was full of beach visits, walks down to the peer, hanging out on the rooftop or a barbeque on the patio. The garage is full of beach gear which means we hardly had to haul anything down ourselves (we drove from Utah). The owner was always very responsive and you can tell she takes great pride in sharing her wonderful home. We would not hesitate for a moment to book this place again. Thanks so much for the memories!

This house was great! In July 2012 my family of four plus my friend's family of 6 all stayed in the house. There was plenty of room for all of us and we fell in love with the charm of the home. It was in a safe, clean neighborhood and was a few short blocks from the beach! There was plenty of beach supplies that were fun for all. Just beware of the glass table top, it bites! Ha ha well it doesn't bite, but we all have bruises on our shins from it. Just another story to tell and laugh about! The home owner was easily reached by e-mail and answered all our questions and provided helpful information about the area. We wished would could have stayed longer! I can't say enough about how much fun with had in the little house by the beach! Thanks for letting us make great memories in your home!

Property was beautiful. Just as the photos reflect. Very clean and quiet. Perfect place for families with children. Our family will definately be back; year after year. You will love this home and it's location. Be careful though, you won't ever want to leave!

This property was only 1 block to the ocean, which made it so convenient for our family to walk to the beach, as well as Main St, restaurants and shops. The owner of the property had full instructions, with suggestions for places of interest to visit as well. They thought of all the extra's. We had an outdoor shower and a beautiful fountain to listen to while barbecuing on the patio. What a lovely and tastefully decorated home! We are planning on returning next summer as well.

Wonderful Beach house

This home far exceeded our expectations.The location was perfect.The home was spotless and had alot of amenities. Wow! What a great home. Location was ideal for walking to the beach, restaurants, the pier and dog beach. It was a great for short day trips to Orange County, L.A. and San Diego. Only 1 block to the ocean made it a convenient and very relaxing getaway. We found the home to be comfy, clean and decorated like a model home! Hope to return!

Renter Beware!

This is an excellent house, well furnished in a great location. It is spoiled by a landlord who will claim that you left the house very dirty (this is in spite of the fact that we spent the day before check out cleaning house from top to bottom!) and will then bill you for extra cleaning. She will even bill you for missing items that you've never seen. We stayed in the winter and found that she had not replaced the furnace filter in years (we finally got some heat once we changed it). Nor had she cleaned the blinds, the fans, or the baseboards. And the final kicker is that rugs in some rooms smelled of dog urine! In short stay away, stay far, far away from this landlord.

Owner response:I have been renting my property thru VRBO and HOMEAWAY for over 5 years now, and have never had a complaint from any renters who have stayed at the property. Its been just the opposite. I have gotten nothing but wonderful comments on how wonderfully decorated and well equipped the home was, as well as the cleanliness of the home. I had renters who stayed at my property for 2 months, and apparently never cleaned once. I charged them an extra cleaning fee and they became very disgruntled. When you arrive at my home you are encouraged and welcome to read and sign my guestbook which will confirm nothing but positve experiences. Best Regards, Owner.

Wow! That sums up our wonderful week here in your beautiful home. You did a terrific job of having everything so ready for us to "move in!" We were truly impressed with the quality...if everything...from the bed linens to the cookware & tableware! You have set the standard! Thank you so much. It was nice to see the ice chests,beach towels & chairs,the bikes and the games. We truly enjoyed HB... so much to do...and so relaxing this has become one of our favorite getaways...hope your home is available if we get the chance to return. Bravo, a job well done.
