  When we pull up to the house it was a big disappointment. The house was old, the swing set was so old that it's rusty. There were lot of ants outside and after we returned the house the property manager blame us for the ants, we can't bring the ants with us. There were holes in on the wall around the house and we were blamed. Can't believe people can be so crooked to get the deposit. This house need lot of remodeling. That's why this house is cheaper than other houses, but still outrages for the worse vacation we had. Even though this house is 4 rooms, it's a small property. You will be disappointed if u renting this house. We tried to clean the house as much as we can before we leave and still was charged. Sorry way to get people money.

  Owner response: This guest totally trashed the house. There was seafood stuck on the floors inside the house, rice stuck on the floors inside the house, seafood and trash littered all over the back deck off of the kitchen ~ which drew ants causing the house to be infested as well. It took close to 6 hours to restore the house to 'check in' condition. Guest also put holes in the hallway walls and left the house the dirtiest we have ever seen. So yes, the security deposit was kept and the guest was advised we would not rent to them again.

  We appreciate the great time that we had on our trip to the coast. The house was in great shape and very comfortable. We will definitely recommend it to friends.

  We just finished up a two night stay at this nice house in Port Aransas. The only problem we had was that we didn't have more time to stay there. The house is every bit as nice as described and as clean as a pen. We couldn't have asked for better. We'll definitely rent it again if we make it back that way.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  With 6 adults the house had PLENTY of room. It was very clean, the beds were super comfortable. Even with us all taking showers back to back NEVER ran out of hot water and had great water pressure. Nice towels. It was very well stocked in the kitchen, made making breakfast for everyone an easy job. Close to every thing ,but had a private feel to it when sitting on the back porch. Really can't say enough positive things about the house..You can't go wrong renting this one..Thanks Jodi for being so nice..see you next year..

  We had a full house, but never felt crowded! There was room for everyone! We have missed the beach and fishing the last couple of years and the Lantana House was the "welcome back" we needed! The house and all it provided was accurately described! Very close to food and the beach was a short walk from the house and fishing was a quick truck ride away to the jettys! We caught over 130lbs of Red!! We will certainly be back and will recommend this property! Thank you Jodi!!

  This property was a great place for our Port A vacation! The house was spotless when we checked in, it was stocked with everything we needed and the house looked exactly like the pictures on the website. It was very handy having a washer and dryer - we used it often. Everything in the house worked, the beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room for our group of seven. Plenty of parking space, close to the beach, easy access to restaurants and local attractions. I would recommend this property without hesitation!
