Unit located right across the street from Kamaole Beach II. Kamaole Beach II is one of the best beach in Maui with beautiful sunsets, snorkeling, swimming, sun bathing, boogie boarding and tide pools. Great for kids.
From Maui Banyan, it is a short walk to restaurants, cafes, and shopping. Wailea and Mekena are just a short drive to the south. Kihei is centrally located on Maui.
The units have a view of the ocean from the lanais ( balcony, total of two lanais). This is a safe and friendly complex with covered parking garage. The complex was designed by a Feng Shui master and as such has an open floor plan, beautiful grounds, and comfortable. One of the nicest complex in Kihei. The acrylic paintings were done by the owner.

Why the Owner Chose Maui Banyan
The units at Maui Banyan have a very comfortable open floor plan. Also, "the Banyan" has a fantastic location - right across from Kam II, a nice walk to shops and resturants, and close to Big Beach - one of our favorites. Finally, the complex is one of the nicest in Kihei - private, well maintained, great design, nice gardens, etc. In a word - perfect.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Very close to the beach, very safe complex, quiet, clean, great architecture. I like the clear balcony railing. Has a great entrance, great parking, great pool area with bar-b-que areas. Love relaxing here!

We arrived at the condo on Dec 22/11 after having stopped to stock up on groceries for our stay. Upon arrival we soon found that our fridge didn't work and when we contacted AA Oceanfront Property they called back to say the owner was aware and that we would have a replacement on Dec 30/11 1 full week after our arrival. We were not made aware of this problem before arrival or even on arrival and consequently approx. $200.00 worth of groceries were thrown out. The closet door in the room with two beds was broken and actually fell on us when we opened the door to the suite because it had just been propped up. On a brighter note, the condo has a nice sized kitchen which is well stocked and the owner was kind enough to leave beach chairs, boogie boards, frisbee, movies, books and some other toys for our use which was much appreciated. It is very stituated interms of all amenities, beaches, restaurants, shopping all within walking distance. We would consider staying here again if the owner could se his way clear to reimbursing us for the groceries and inconvenience of not having a fridge for a week.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.

I was disappointed in the old, stained carpet, broken closet doors, mold on shower curtain, mold in the kitchen light covering, broken window screens, rust on certain exterior surfaces and the worst part was that the refrigerator didn't keep things cold enough and the freezer wouldn't keep things frozen. Our ice wouldn't stay frozen. I had my concerns on if we could get sick from the food not being kept cold enough. Our 15 month old grandson was with us and I especially worried about him getting sick. My husband called several times to have the refrigerator checked out and no one ever got out to look at it. The office staff at Maui Banyan were not too friendly. I wouldn't rent this particular condo again and I may not stay at the condo complex again either. Not a happy customer.):

My fiancee and I just got home from a week in Maui and we loved the condo at Maui Banyan. The location is great, right across the street from the beach, 5 minutes from grocery stores and dive shops and a 2 minute walk to some great restaurants. The condo itself is great, very clean and a good size. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to make every meal in your room if you want. The view from the Lanai is great, we had breakfast out there almost every morning. There are lots of chairs at the pool and the grounds are very well kept. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Hello, I hope you find that our place is one of your possible vacation / relaxation destination. We wjnoy staying at our condo in Maui, across the street from a great family beach. A perfect comfortable place to kick around without missing our standard dayly necessities. A great health food store, a Hawaiian Shaves ice stand, a surf shops and many restaurants and cafes within walking distance are definetely a plus. Stoll along the beach in the morning or at night. Watch sunset or just simply relaxing is a part of routine. Maybe you'll want to visit us one day ....
