Quinta Zoe is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city providing a friendly alternative to local hotels.
Breakfast from 8:30 to 10 in our Three-arches dining room overlooking one of our 9' stone fountains. Breakfast includes eggs, toast and our home-made Maple-nut Granola with yogurt and home-made fruit sauces, strong Mexican coffee or tea and juice or fruit.
We also offer a No Breakfast Option for those who normally skip breakfast or for budget travelors. Morning coffee and/or tea is included with all room rates plus unlimited chilled bottled water. There is a guest refrigerator next to the water cooler.
At Quinta Zoe, enjoy five star amenities: Top-line mattresses with luxury linens, openable colonial windows in rooms and private baths with either a window or a skylight, ceiling fans and thermostatic heaters to accommodate any mild changes in temperature, electronic safes in each room for your valuables, private entrances off the main patio behind a the main gate which is locked 24 hours a day. In addition, we have all-new electrical, plumbing AND pressurized water (most all water is gravity-operated here in Mexico.)
All rooms have Cable TV with English-speaking channels. There is a refrigerator for guests as well as complimentary unlimited chilled bottled water.
Hi-speed internet is in most rooms. There is a pay phone on site for local calls or throughout Mexico. If you don't travel with your computer, there is an internet store just across the street for a nominal fee.
All rooms are beautifully decorated with a different Mexican flower theme - the Amapola (poppy), the Tulipan, the Girasol (sunflower) and the Water Lily Room. Enjoy hand-made (carved and/or painted) furniture by local artisans along with Talavera (hand-painted tile) murals and jars, large, hand-carved and painted Mexican mirrors.
In addition, enjoy our partially-covered roof-top terrace with city view. See the stars (and periodic fireworks or thundershowers from June to November) at night or the view of several local churches, one where Maximillion was incarcerated, just a piece of the colorful history of Queretaro.
When you want to go beyond Centro, our private driver will drive you to work or to local villages for sight-seeing. There are also several tours operated by the city, both local and to nearby villages.
Taxis and buses are available within a block as well as a parking lot (nominal fee) for those who drive. The local bus station offers buses to anywhere in Mexico which makes Queretaro the perfect base from which to visit many parts of Mexico.
Visit nearby San Miguel de Allende or historic Dolores Hidalgo for Talavera pottery from one of its over-fifty Talavera factories. Visit nearby Marbletown or Leathertown or a town with cantera-stone artisans at work. Nearby is charming Bernal with the second largest rock in the world and visit the villages of Tequisquiapan and Bernal for more artisan shops on the way.
