Owner's Profile
Owner Description
We are a small family that lives in Aurora, Colorado. We work in the big city but love to escape to the mountains of Summit County any time of the year. We rent and manage our personal condo. We have enjoyed meeting people from all over who have rented our unit.
Why the Owner Chose Tucker Mountain Lodge
Our family loves to ski and found Copper Mt to be the best value for families. We rented a few times and loved being so close to the slopes that we thought it was the only way to go. After looking at all the buildings and locations, we bought our unit and have loved it.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We can go skiing and return to the unit for a relaxed lunch in front of the fireplace or watch the TV. We can then go back out for some afternoon skiing. The extra big entrance makes a great place for our coats and boots. Our son likes having a game system and DVD player in the unit. His parents enjoy being in a building that is close to the center village but having the unit face away from the noise of the village for a nice quiet night.

Great Condo. Great location. Top corner of the building so nice and quiet. My wife and I stayed there for a ski week in Feb. 2011 and would stay again in a heartbeat. Great access to the slopes and village as well as to all of Summit County. If you've never used VRBO before, Gary will make you feel very comfortable as he's very accessible and accommodating. Enjoy!

What a wonderful, clean and perfect place to stay. The entire place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The balcony was a perfect location to sit and sip some wine as we appreciated the stream flowing down below. We rented bikes in Frisco and rode them on the paved trail to Brekenridge and had a great time. We will definitely stay here again;both in the summer then in the winter as it sits right at the bottom of the lifts at Copper Mountain.

We have no words to say how perfect everything was during our stay. All the details in the condo were carefully taken care of and the accommodations were very comfortable. Located a few minutes walk from everything in the village and easy access to quaint towns in the vicinity. It's very apparent that the owners take great pride and care in the condo. The unit is also very quiet, which was great for relaxing and sleeping after a long day enjoying the mountains. We look forward to staying here again!

My brother and I recently stayed in Gary and Tonja's Tucker Mountain condo at Copper Mountain. This property far exceeded my expectations. The location is one it's best amenities. Two chair lifts are situated a short walk away from the main entrance of the building. It's centrally located in Copper's main base area. There are several good bars and restaurants within close walking distance. We really liked Tucker's Tavern for pizza. This property is modern and nicely appointed with a fully functioning kitchen. There are a lot of other nice amenities including a heated, underground parking garage, a ski locker, and an extra large bathroom. The owners are conscientious, professional and easy to work with. They gave us coupons for half-price lift tickets - which saved us a lot of money. The bottom line is that this property was an exceptionally good value. I hope to book a trip there again next year. I highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at Tucker Mountain #502. The unit delivered everything that was promised: great building that is in the heart of Center Village, beautifully furnished, well-maintained, close to elevator yet very quiet. Plus, working with the owner was a pleasure.

We have stayed at Tucker Mnt. #502 on two occasions. This unit is beautifully appointed and the owner's are superb to work with! You will not be disappointed with this condo - it is clean and very comfortable, with many upgraded amenities. It is in a very quiet location in a newer building with nice facilities; such as a workout room, Sauna and Hot tub. If you are looking for a terrific getaway with no "surprises", this is the place. We are looking forward to returning again next fall!

We love this condo. We have stayed here three times and every time it is a pleasure to be in such a nice unit. The furniture and accomodations are great and the location in Copper is perfect. Tope level corner unit with a wonderful deck overlooking the river in Copper.
