Our 1800 square foot townhouse is fully equipped with everything you could possibly wish. We have three TVs, two VCRs, two stereos, two DVDs. The fully stocked kitchen comes with everything from a salsa maker, crock pot and blender for your margaritas. Plenty of cooking tools and ingredients have been provided for your convenience; even non perishables like mayo, salad dressings etc. in the refrigerator and cereal, spices, flour, and sugar. Our one car garage has a storage area containing beach chairs, snow equipment, sleds etc.
Our two mountain shadows pools are heated during the summer plus the community health center has an all year indoor pool. Tennis courts, Diamond Peak ski area and two 18 hole Robt. Trent Jones golf courses are two minutes away. Incline has two private beach areas with an large heated pool and volley ball courts just a short walk from the townhouse and our two decks have a peak view of the lake.

Perfect Vacation for Three Generations

We (a group of grandparents, parents and a little girl) had a very nice time at this cozy home. This townhouse is very spacious with all the things needed to make a sweet home. We enjoyed our hot breakfast made at the gourmet kitchen before we headed to the beach. The townhouse is close to supermarket, our favorite restaurant (Asian Noodles), and the famous Sand Harbor. As it is close to the ski area, we may go back during the ski season. During our booking process, the owner is extremely nice and friendly. He sent out the keys by Express Mail so that the keys arrived in 2 days. Thanks to Daniel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. As the other reviews have stated, the condo has everything you could possibly need. The new gas fireplace is fantastic, so convenient when you arrive back from skiing all day and the last thing you want to do is move to stoke the fire! Additionally, being 1/2 mile from Diamond Peak is hard to over emphasize. We also really appreciated Dan's care. From delivering the keys to us well in advance, to calling and alerting us to a closure on 80, he couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks so much!
Owner response:We very much appreciate our guests response following their stay. They found themselves stuck at Tahoe with too much snow and closed roads. I suggested they just stay in our warm townhouse and wait a day or two until travel became possible. Our motto really is just the golden rule.

We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, coziness and convenience. There were six of us (2 families) and it was plenty of room for us all to spread out. The teens enjoyed hanging out in the loft while we all liked the cozy fireplace and open kitchen/livingroom area. When the adults wanted quiet, the downstairs bedrooms were a perfect retreat. For skiers it doesn't get much better because Diamond Peak is just literally a few minutes up the street. The condo was very well equipped with all the comforts of home which made cooking a breeze. We're hoping to get back to Tahoe this ski season and will definitely want to stay here again.

The condo was well equipped with towels, linens, blankets, and the kitchen had everything we needed for 6 people. In fact, entertaining was a breeze because there was extra china, glasses, etc. Last year 2 grandchildren slept in the loft which was comfortable and fun for them! I would heartily recommend this unit to anyone without hesitation. Arriving there the place was spotless and welcoming.

We just returned from our second stay at Mountain Shadows (December 2008 and January 2010) - what a great condo for our family of six! The condo is quiet and clean with comfortable beds and an ideal layout. We loved it and hope to come back again!

We stayed for two weeks at this Condo in middle of September 2008 - We had a fabulous time,the Condo is well equipped with everything you need and very comfortable. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place, we explored the whole of the lake and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The scenery in places is fantastic. A great place for bikers or if you are a keen skier. We had a wonderful time at this condo. Well furnished, fully stocked kitchen with more cooking tools than I have at my own home! The rooms are really quite big and comfortable.Great location near to a few different ski resorts. Our kids had a great time swimming in the pool at the condo. We can't wait to go again!
