Alpine Meadows (which sells a "Parent Interchangeable" ski pass option) and Squaw Valley Ski resorts are just 8-10 miles away for skiing, ice skating, indoor rock-climbing, horseback riding, cable car ride, snow tubing, and Skyjump.
