We had never been to Kauai and were so pleased with this condo and the location. Because It was so central it was perfect for driving anywhere on the island. The condo was so comfortable, kitchen had everything you would need. We used the barbecue a couple times and they were very clean. No air conditioning but like others have said with the breeze you don't really need it. There are fans in the bedroom which helps with the sleeping. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, very quiet. Beth Ann was so helpful and responding immediately to my emails. I liked the fact that we could walk to restaurants. Tried a few restaurants and would recommend them - Monoco's (mexican), Kintaro (Japanese), Trees lounge, and for our final night treated ourselves at the Hakilau Lanai restaurant. Kayaking on the river was wonderful and would recommend Kayak Wailua company (across from shell).

The condo was very nicely equipped. It could use a few updates, but it was very comfortable and the view is fantastic!! Nice quiet place to stay.

Mahalo nui loa for renting to us. After experiencing three weeks at your Kauaiian paradise, my wife refers to returning home as "an overextended stay on the mainland". We're already looking forward to our return next year. We've been returning to Kauai for many years and your accommodations, and the location at Lae Nani are the most enjoyable that we've had...... and you have been a pleasure to deal with. A hui hou !!!

Fantastic 6 days in Kauai

My family and I just returned from Kauai and Lae Nani condo. It was a fantastic setting with the ocean literally outside the lanai. The condo is immaculate and complete with everything you'll need for a wonderfully relaxing vacation - even water shoes which I needed for a tubing excursion! The condo is on the 3rd floor so no stress about kids running around on top of you. The view is exactly as shown in the photos. We have been renting places through vrbo for years and this is one of the best places yet. The location is fantastic as it's halfway between north and south shores. After particularly exhausting days you can leave the car at the condo and walk to a variety of restaurants. My jogger daughter was delighted by the path in front of the condo which ran along for about 3 miles to Kapa'a town. We would definitely come back here, and particularly to this unit at Lae Nani.

This condo was worth every penny. The beautiful grounds and access to the beaches, snorkeling access and quaint Hawaiian shops were added bonuses. The condo itself was equipped with all items such as binoculars, snorkeling gear, and even a can of bug spray sitting out on the lanai. It was a quiet location except for the roaring surf and numerous bird species. We definitely would go back to this same location in a heartbeat. Everyone was very friendly!

Great Condo In A Wonderful Place

Situated in Wailua, the Lae Nani condos are a very nice development in a nice part of the Island -- a safe distance from the density of Poipu and better weather than Princeville/Hanalei. The Jones's condo is very nicely and completely appointed and, being on the third floor, provides a beautiful, angled view of the ocean off Wailua Beach. As a long time annual visitor to Kauai, I would recommend the Island as a wonderful place to vacation & this condo as an excellent base of operations.

Our first trip to Kauai and we stayed in this wonderful unit. The owners were very helpful, quick to respond and the unit was truly as promised. Our friends stay in this unit each year and they love it. The pictures of the unit are true, except that there is now new accent paint on the bedroom wall (burgundy) and the livingroom wall (dark green). The office staff was nice, so was the manager. Not having AC was not an issue, the unit stayed cool with the fans and wonderful sun shades. Having to walk up three flights of steps was a huge plus for me and my weight watchers pedometer! Housekeeping did a great job, the place was very clean when we arrived, and she leaves extra stuff like shampoo, lotion, etc. There were fins, snorkels, masks, beach chairs, ice chests, mats, and more than enough towels. I would recommend this unit to anyone! Loved it and would stay here again!

It really is paradise

We just spent 10 days in this unit at Lae Nani. What a dream! The view from the lanai is to die for. The lawn, gardens and beach are beautiful. What a wonderful sight to wake up to each morning. The condo is exactly as pictured on VRBO and has everything you could possibly think of. Even the essential spices and condiments in the kitchen. We have not been to Kauai in over 30 years but that is going to change. When we got home we just had to watch the movie "Donovan's Reef" as Lae Nani is built on the exact property where the beautiful white house was in the film. How fun to match up places where we were. Loved the pool - we spent every afternoon there. The sunshades are great for keeping things cool. But next time we won't bring so many clothes that we absolutely did not need. Hauling our too heavy suitcases upstairs wasn't fun. But it was worth the trek being on the top floor with the gorgeous view. The owner was so spot on whenever I had a question about anything. Thank you for the use of your beautiful condo. We loved every minute of our time there. We'll be back.

My wife found this condo on VRBO and from the pictures it looked really nice, so we decided to give it a try. Sometimes you aren't sure if the pictures on the website are going to be an accurate depiction of the condo, I am pleased to say that it was exactly as described. The owner was extremely accommodating and the communication was excellent. We absolutely loved the place. This was our 5th trip to Kauai and this was without question the nicest place we have stayed. We didn't want to leave. The condo was well appointed and the location and view from the lanai was amazing. We were so impressed with the grounds and my daughters and I loved the pool and the beach. My wife commented on how the condo had such nice kitchen ware and utensils. Dealing with the owner made the whole process easy and pleasant. Needless to say, we will be back!
