In Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, China Doll Country offers three complete self-contained apartment suites with private entrances. Unlike a Bed and Breakfast, there are no shared facilities.

Entertainment consisting of premium cable TV, VCR/DVDs with a library of movies, stereo, and CD player. During nice weather enjoy the deck and private patio.

Unit office areas include a computer with MS Office, high-speed cable Internet access, scanner,printer, photocopier, CD writer, and fax machine.

For breakfast, help yourself to the variety of coffees, teas, juices, muffins, bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, cream cheese, and other fixings.

Other amenities include washer and dryer, built in ironing board, and shoe shining equipment. For your trips to the beach, Grant Park, or Ravina concerts, we provide chairs, wheeled cooler, umbrella, and towels. Baby equipment provided.

The neighborhood offers a broad range of restaurants, theatres, bars, and live music. Kingston Mines, Chicago Blue, Briar Street Theater, Wrigley Field, Lincoln Park, Lake Michigan, and the beach are within walking distance.

  • We visited Chicago because it is a central meeting point for our college friends. We stayed a weekend in China Doll Country Unit 2 - and LOVED it. I was so pleased with the cleanliness and accommodations, as well as the friendliness of Jim & Yanan. The location is also wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone!

Truly, there is "no place like home" and how wonderful to have all the little touches and comforts that makes a home so welcoming. The fun of the city was exhilarating but what made it even more special was to open the door of China Doll and find a place to rest, read and refresh...peaceful.   • This was the perfect place for our trip to Chicago. It was convenient to transportation, and it was so nice to come back to a place that felt like "home". We loved the shower, the convenient Internet access, and your movie selection. Oh - and I can't forget the wonderfully comfortable bathrobe! We'll definitely recommend the China Doll to friends and family.
