Welcome to "Casita El Monte De Sandavol" a luxurious Adobe 1BR within walking distance of the Historic Plaza featuring a master suite with a queen pillow-top bed, gourmet kitchen, private hot tub and kiva fireplace. We are across the street from the 5 Star Luxury Resort "El Monte Sagrado" which includes a Spa, Fine Dining and Martini Bar with "Live" Music. We offer an amazing Taos location that allows you to walk to the historic plaza, galleries, restaurants and bars.
Attention Skiers, Bikers & Hikers!!! This is one of the BEST locations to experience Taos as the National Forest (Biking/Hiking) is less than 1 mile away. (Restaurants/Shopping) You can also walk to the Taos Plaza. This beautiful Casita El Monte De Suenos is located close to the historic plaza and 25 minutes to the Taos Ski Valley.
Amenities include: Full Kitchen, Outdoor Hot Tub, Gas Grill, Multi-media capabilities (Internet, Satellite TV, DVD, Stereo etc). The kitchen features a gas stove with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. The living room also has a southwest style sofa sleeper that will sleep an additional two kids or adults. The outside patio has room to Barbecue with a gas grill and we recently installed an outdoor jacuzzi for those evening star gazing moments or enjoying the mountain views in the privacy of aspen trees.
Policies: 1. Deposits: 50% at booking. 50% 45 days before arrival - holidays/events 90 days. (100% payment with reduced rate.) 2. Check-in 4pm. Check-out 11am. Late check-out = 1/2 day rental. 3. Your Confirmation, Key Code & Directions are attached to your email "Reservation Confirmation" upon booking. 4. No smoking inside unit. Violation fees up to $500. 5. New Mexico is a drought state. Please Save Water. 6. Recycle: Use bins outside or separate in bags. 7. Cancellation: No refunds within 45 or 90 (holiday/event) days before arrival. (Unless re-rented) Fee 25%. 8. Pets: Dogs allowed in 'Pet Friendly' units $15/nt. Please clean up inside & outside. 9. We are not liable for personal injuries or illnesses on property. 10. We are not responsible for loss/damage of personal items. 11. Hot Tub: Shower before & no children under 18 w/o adult supervision. 8am to 9pm. 12. Use caution on wet floors, near hot tub, steps and especially icy areas. 13. Leave units as you found them except detailed cleaning. 14. Please watch your speed & drive slow through our private neighborhoods. 23. Housekeeping: If unit is not clean/ready at 4pm or arrival. 24. DNM has the right to move you if necessary to a comparable or upgraded unit.

Sept 2007 – What a great place to stay! This casita was beyond our expectations. Well furnished, clean, comfortable & beautiful. We spent a lot of time shopping in the Taos Plaza. The Taos Pueblo was incredible and we spent a day at Ojo Caliente Mineral & Hot Springs. Thank you so much for providing such a great place to enjoy our vacation. (Frank & Linda from Middletown, CT)

Jan 2008 – We loved the condo (Casita El Monte), it was great for family dining, games & movie night. The kitchen had everything we needed to make gourmet meals twice a day. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing, snowmobiling, tubing & shopping. The casita was equipped with all the amenities of home. (Keith, Darlene & Tina from Dallas, TX)
