Loved my stay in the El Monte Casita. Great location. Furnishings were beautiful, Fun art in the Condo. All in all a wonderful place, very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The property was very clean. Heidi and Mellie were very helpful in making the reservation. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants a great condo in Taos.

The house was nice and well kept. My only complaint was the blinds in the house. They were hard to operate and some were broken and it was imperative to open the blinds in order to get a breeze in the house. I called maintenance about the blinds being broken and no one ever returned my phone call. I was also told that the casita had air conditioning and upon arriving, realized that was a lie. I called the management company 2 times and wrote 3 emails with no response. Then when I finally got a response, the guy was rude and never admitted that he provided me with false information. He actually still insisted it had A/C when I was sure it did not. They are completely unprofessional and I will never rent this house again simply because of my experience with luxurycasita.com. Even though I was given false information about the house, I was not looking for a refund or discount, all I wanted was an apology. The owner of this property is completely losing out by using this company to manage their property. I will make sure to tell everyone I know about my experience with them.
Owner response:This property is now under new management and our goals are to be more responsive and attentive to guest needs. We plan to upgrade the blinds and the owners are now booking the property directly to avoid mis-information to future guests. The owners

I was very happy with what I saw when I got there. After all, you never know if the online pics are going to be representative of the actual when you see it in person. It exceeded my expectations. The artwork is gorgeous, the place was extremely clean, and it was just like the pictures represented. A beautiful vacation casita in a great location. You won't be disappointed.

My 2 daughters & granddaughter stayed here in mid Sept. for 3 nites. Had a great stay. Accommodations were as stated. All the amendities needed. Decorated very nice. All the paintings on the wall were done by an artisit named Ed Sandoval, who is seen on week-ends on horseback around the square in Taos. One of my daughters was visiting the art gallerys & found the artist painting. She introduced herself to him & had a nice conversation w/him. So that was one of the highlights of our stay. Regarding any negative comment, I agree w/the previous review. The blinds on the french doors in the LR did not work. Also re: the air conditioning. We did not even try it. Temps were in low 90's & it was very comfortable w/just the windows open. Also the hot tub we could not get heated. Otherwise location was great, very quiet neighborhood. Would stay there again & would recommend it to friends. .

Sept 2007 – What a great place to stay! This casita was beyond our expectations. Well furnished, clean, comfortable & beautiful. We spent a lot of time shopping in the Taos Plaza. The Taos Pueblo was incredible and we spent a day at Ojo Caliente Mineral & Hot Springs. Thank you so much for providing such a great place to enjoy our vacation. (Frank & Linda from Middletown, CT)

Thanks for the great week in your casita. We hiked the natl forest & our knees got weak walk the Rio Grande Gorge bridge. Taos Pueblo was fascinating & made a big impression on our kids. We enjoyed the artist touch you gave your casita & enjoyed listening to the Soulfood music you produced. Thanks & Sincerely, The Westras

We really enjoyed celebrating our 40th anniversary in such a special place. We truly enjoyed the closeness to Old Town (Plaza) and the wonderful restaurants. The accommodations were all we hoped for here in Taos & in your Casita in Santa Fe. (Dick & Karen from Windsor, Colorado)

For a couple looking for a unique spot away from the resort and condo hustle and bustle, this place is it. The setting is peaceful and gorgeous and the aistream is stocked with all the modern amenities and comforts of home. You really get the benefits of camping in the mountains, only with added luxuries of A/C, a BBQ grill and hot tub. Highly recommended, but shhh, don't let the word out too much...we want to go back!

This was the most perfect escape for my Lab and I. Everything was perfect - from the views to the accomodations. I can't wait to get back up there for another relaxing weekend away from it all.

Jan 2008 – We loved the condo (Casita El Monte), it was great for family dining, games & movie night. The kitchen had everything we needed to make gourmet meals twice a day. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing, snowmobiling, tubing & shopping. The casita was equipped with all the amenities of home. (Keith, Darlene & Tina from Dallas, TX)

The airstream was great. We stayed in early January. Four inches of snow fell the day we arrived and it was beautiful. My wife and I enjoyed the hot tub, walked the trails, and visited the ski valley. We highly recommend the airstream.
Owner response:This comment was for a "Different" property. Our Luxury Airstream with a different VRBO listing!
