Because we enjoy our condo as often as we can ourslves, we have equipped it to pamper ourselves - please enjoy the many upgrades that are not commonly found in many 'rental' units.
This Manasota Key condominium is a direct beach front luxury unit with panoramic views of the Gulf and boasts the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see. Barefoot Beach construction was completed in late 2005. Enjoy staying in one of Manasota Key's newest luxury condos. Barefoot Beach has four floors and is one of the tallest structures on this paradise of an island. This lovely second floor condo has a large screened lanai directly overlooking the beach and Gulf! Step into the elevator and in less than a minute you will be on the beach!
Our Barefoot Beach condo has ceramic tile floors throughout and granite countertops in the kitchen. Master bath has a large soaking tub, large glass walled shower and separate double sinks adjoining the oversized Master suite with sliding glass door access to the lanai.
The large screened lanai has lounge chairs and a dining table so you can enjoy sunset dinners in luxury!
The condo is tastefully decorated with a blend of comfortable modern and carefully selected vintage furniture accented with nostalgic Florida tropical art.
Bring your computer! Super high speed wireless Internet service is included. Sit on the large lanai enjoying a panoramic view of the gulf and beach while chatting up your friends or family with the free domestic long distance calling.
The Condo is completely stocked with linens and towels so just bring your clothes and personal items. There are 4 TV's; 3 are flat screen TV's (huge, large and small) and 2 DVD players. We have an extensive cable TV package, including music and movie channels and TIVO. The modern kitchen is fully stocked with just about everything one would need: a Kitchenaid food processor, toaster oven, dishwasher, microwave, disposal, coffee-maker, electric can opener, and side by side refrigerator complete with ice and filtered water dispenser. There is also a full size washer & dryer, iron, steamer & ironing board and drying racks for your convenience.
There are beach and lounge chairs, beach towels, toys, umbrellas and even noodle floats in the condo for your use. A community outdoor gas grill and heated pool are also available for your use. There is a reserved covered parking space for this condo.

This is a no smoking condo (unit as well as lanai), we rent only to non-smoking guests. Unfortunately the condo rules do not allow pets.
The natural beach is known to offer some of the clearest waters, best shelling and shark teeth hunting on the Gulf coast. Barefoot Beach offers quiet solitude or, if you prefer, abundant amenities and activities just steps from the door. Step off the elevator and within a minute you will be on the beach ready to walk, swim, surf, fish, sunbathe, read, nap and enjoy spectacular sunsets! Watch for dolphins swimming in the surf!
Manasota Key is a natural haven and breeding ground for many wildlife species. Within a short walk you can explore Stump Pass State Park and its wildlife sanctuary, hiking trails and excellent game fishing.
Nearby attractions also include historic sites, museums, art galleries, antiquing, and the Englewood performing arts. Your choices for dining include anything from waterfront, fresh seafood, and ethnic restaurants to cappuccino cafes.
Manasota Key is in close proximity to several airports including Sarasota, Clearwater-St. Pete, Tampa and Fort Myers airports with international access. Within a two and a half hour drive, you can see Florida's finest attractions including Disney World, Epcot, MGM, Universal Studios, Sea World, Kennedy Space Center, Alligator Alley and Miami Beach.

- Barefoot Beach is a small private complex with only 14 luxury units. The beach is very private since only 14 units share the beachfront (compared to similar size beaches with 40+ units). Would consider trading time at this condo for a high end Black Forest Clock - cuckoo - musical - automated - trumpeter - flute - organ will all be considered.

Why the Owner Chose Manasota Key
Our family has been coming to Englewood since the early 1970s. When time came to look for a vacation place of our own, we searched gulf front properties from Sarasota to Placida but found everything we wanted just a mile from the original family vaction home! We enjoy the small, natural island feel of Manasota Key. The Key is an amazingly peaceful, uncomplicated, accessible island with much to offer.

We can hardly tear ourselves away from the marvelous view, the beauty of the beach and the amazing restful sounds of the waves. When we visit ourselves, we count the days till our next visit. This is just an awesome condo!

We are Debby and Danny Toth from Bloomington, Indiana. We have been enjoying the Manasota Key and Englewood area for over 25 years - so much so, that we purchased this lovely condo in 2009. We are antiques dealers, and have tastefully decorated the condo with high quality modern and our vintage 'Floridiana' finds. Debby- Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed your beautiful condo. We were in want of nothing! It was incredibly enjoyable, from fun-filled mornings on the beach to relaxing afternoons playing cards and grabbing meals inside, while still feeling like you were right at the beach! The decorations were just right for a Florida beach getaway - being a native Floridian, it was greatly appreciated. I have to say the "mermaid room" was a hit with my 5-year old daughter. She insisted on staying in the room and claimed the little dresser as her own! I'm afraid I'm going to have to redecorate her room at home soon! The boys 8 and 11 were not so sure about the mermaids - give them a few years and they'll want to stay in there too! The size of the condo was perfect for our group. The amenities and the building layout was great -very pleasant folks around yet the design gave us just the right amount of privacy - no noises from neighbors and with the condo set over the garage we didn't have to worry about our "little feet" or voices bothering other folks. We look forward to visiting again! Thank you!

My family has just spent time at this wonderful home! It really does have everything you would want at the beach, from the toys, to the chairs to the towels...oh and what a beautiful beach it is. So clear and calm most of the week. Love the color of the Gulf! The faciltiy was so worth it, and having Brent as our go to person for everything was terrific. He is a good man to have around, from maintaining the grounds to keeping the grill and pool in good order and to opening doors for you, if you locked yourself out. The gravity chairs are terrific, I have to get me one - ended up sleeping on the balcony a couple of nights listening to the waves. Thank you Debby for making it happen!

Everything about this condo was as good as advertised. There is plenty of room for 6 adults in the condo - even on the spacious patio that has one of the best ocean views I've ever experienced. It's well furnished for anyone who only has carry-on luggage from their flight. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and linens are provided. You are only a walk away from several restaurants. We cooked several dinner meals without a problem on a nice flat-top electric range. Parking spots are reserved for the condo and parking passes are checked daily. The living dining area nicely seats 6 adults which is something of a problem for some condos. Maintenance staff is friendly and helpful.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a memorable stay. We were able to rent this lovely condo for about ten days and enjoyed every minute. As you walk in the door you have a fantastic view of the Gulf of Mexico. We spent so much time at the condo and on the beach and having multiple nice restaurants within walking distance that we questioned whether we needed to rent a car. It was so nice to be able to walk down stairs and just be right on the beach. One of the nicest and least crowded beaches on the Gulf Coast! The condo itself was very nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. It was just awesome to be able to eat a meal or read or just relax on the lanai with the outstanding view and sounds of the waves as entertainment.

Hi Debby, As our vacation on Manasota Key is coming to an end, just wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed your condo. What a wonderful location!! The view from the lanai is spectacular and we have seen some very nice sunsets . We have found the furniture very comfortable and really appreciate having good light for reading. It is well equipped, just as you said. We have had fabulous weather which meant a lot of beach time, and searching for sharks teeth (we have found several hundred). Our best meals were at Gulfview Grill and Lock and Key. We rented bicycles from Bikes and Boards and got very good bikes. The advice you gave us was very helpful—thank you

This is the second time we have spent our vacation at this condo. We just love it! The view is spectacular and the beach is clean. The condo is spacious and cleverly decorated. We love the Englewood area. We will definitely go back to this condo and area.

This was a little piece of heaven! The condo had everything we needed. The beach was quiet and felt like our own private beach. The view spectacular. Englewood is a diamond in the rough. We would return and stay right here.

Our trip is soooo enjoyable..... We are all having such a good time.... we love the unit....my husband is back home now but told me that of course he misses us, I but think he really misses the lanai....The view is spectacular the minute you enter the condo....so beautiful!!!
