Escape the heat of the city, and come on up to the White Mountains of Arizona. Enjoy the mountains, The Mogollon Rim, and all it's splendor in our relaxing year-round cabin set in Timberland Acres. At 7000ft elevation with captivating city and mountain views, this cabin is the perfect retreat from all the stresses of the city. A scenic drive of only 2 1/2 hours from Phoenix or 3 1/2 hours from Tucson, we are located 8 miles west of Show Low, Arizona, 3 miles off Hwy 260.
Tucked away on a forested lot with privacy, the peace and quiet will renew your senses. Recently redesigned, our 950 square foot cabin is loaded with charm and is the perfect retreat for two to four. The master bedroom has a King size bed and cozy linens. Snuggle up with your favorite novel, watch television, or just kick back and enjoy the views of the forest. There is one full bath with tub and shower. Toiletries, towels, soaps and paper products are all provided.
The kitchen features a new stove, dishes, cookware, and although there is no dishwasher, it's stocked with lots of extras to make your stay more enjoyable. The family room has a leather sofa sleeper and recliner. There is also a 27 inch television with a DVD, VCR, Nintendo, games, puzzles and cards. The wood stove comes with plenty of wood (already cut) or if you prefer, gas forced heat. The dining area has seating for four. Upstairs in the loft, there is a Queen size bed. The loft leads out to the observation deck, which offers more incredible views. A telescope is provided for evening star gazing.
Please note that although the cabin is year-round and very accessible, the driveway can sometimes be slick with morning ice, which we maintain by using salt when needed. If you prefer, there is ample parking at the lower half of the property, with a sled available to transport your belongings.

A one time cleaning fee(non-refundable) of $55.00 is added to all reservations.
Our cabin is Pet Friendly (provided pet is house trained)
An additional $100.00 refundable pet damage Deposit and prior approval is required. Please note that wildlife is often seen here, please keep pets leashed for their protection.
Smoking permitted in outdoor designated area only (notification is required).

My wife thought the cabin was "darling & immaculate". It was well-supplied and had all the amenities we are used to having at home. One suggestion for the cabin would be the addition of a tea kettle. We used the Mr Coffee to heat water, but it wasn't the best temperature for tea. In the instructions to find Timberlane Road off 260 is to indicate there is a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on the corner (a very visible landmark).

Julie: We are having a great time at your beautiful cabin. The view is great, it has everything we need, and is exceptionally clean. Been exploring the area and taking mountain bike rides every day. We will refer your cabin to our friends as a great mountain rental. One suggestion for tea drinkers like us would be for a tea pot to boil water. We did not notice one. The location is wonderful with plenty of privacy. The cabin itself is wonderfully decorated and has many amenities, such as a large screen TV, washer & dryer, and computer that makes it a wonderful base for any vacation or getaway. We really enjoyed our stay.

This darling cabin has cozy atmosphere beyond compare!! It was so warm and inviting. Every amenity was there - nothing was overlooked. It is decorated beautifully.The owners are so thoughtful. We felt at home immediately. We loved the beautiful mountain views and the private location. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a relaxing and homey getaway in the mountains. I can guarantee you won't want to leave!

Everything about the property is just as it was listed. The pictures were very accurate in representing the cabin. As a matter of fact it is even better than the pictures!! Julie has really decorated the cabin with lots of flair. It is very neat!! The views are unbelieveable; it is wonderfully quiet. Julie has thought of everything! We just loved our time at the cabin...and hated to leave. We found it very pet friendly. We love the area as far as restaurants and activities are concerned. We found a wealth of info at the cabin in the magazine rack!! Thanks Julie for a great place to stay!

We cannot say enough about this peaceful little getaway in Show Low. The surroundings are beautiful, the view from the back porch is breath-taking. We really needed a quiet and secluded reprieve from the "daily grind"- a place to relax, recharge, and rest- and we certainly found it in this cabin. The cabin itself is very comfortable and charming, and very accommodating at a reasonable price. We will definitely stay here again.
