What a wonderful cabin this is! Definitely all the description says but more. The cabin is in an awesome location to feel secluded but is an easy drive to town and activities in the White Mountains. We took lots of little day trips to fantastic hikes. The cabin is so nicely appointed with lots of wonderful touches. Many seem to be "vintage cabin" which we loved. The cabin is absolutely updated, clean, modern and so comfy with high quality linens and towels. The owner stocks the basics and more. All the paper products you need, all the cooking basics such as spices, butter, salt and pepper, and so much more. Thank you for a wonderful retreat! My wife thought the cabin was "darling & immaculate". It was well-supplied and had all the amenities we are used to having at home. One suggestion for the cabin would be the addition of a tea kettle. We used the Mr Coffee to heat water, but it wasn't the best temperature for tea. In the instructions to find Timberlane Road off 260 is to indicate there is a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on the corner (a very visible landmark).

Julie: We are having a great time at your beautiful cabin. The view is great, it has everything we need, and is exceptionally clean. Been exploring the area and taking mountain bike rides every day. We will refer your cabin to our friends as a great mountain rental. One suggestion for tea drinkers like us would be for a tea pot to boil water. We did not notice one. This darling cabin has cozy atmosphere beyond compare!! It was so warm and inviting. Every amenity was there - nothing was overlooked. It is decorated beautifully.The owners are so thoughtful. We felt at home immediately. We loved the beautiful mountain views and the private location. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a relaxing and homey getaway in the mountains. Everything about the property is just as it was listed. The pictures were very accurate in representing the cabin. As a matter of fact it is even better than the pictures!! Julie has really decorated the cabin with lots of flair. It is very neat!! The views are unbelieveable; it is wonderfully quiet. Julie has thought of everything! We just loved our time at the cabin...and hated to leave. We found it very pet friendly. We love the area as far as restaurants and activities are concerned. We cannot say enough about this peaceful little getaway in Show Low. The surroundings are beautiful, the view from the back porch is breath-taking. We really needed a quiet and secluded reprieve from the "daily grind"- a place to relax, recharge, and rest- and we certainly found it in this cabin. The cabin itself is very comfortable and charming, and very accommodating at a reasonable price. We will definitely stay here again.

What a treat to get away from the city and the heat. This property is wonderfully isolated, but not too far from a grocery and a lovely, clean lake. The cabin has all the amenities and more. Delightful front porch with a fantastic view. Cozy living room with a woodburning stove. Kitchen has all the equipment to produce a gourmet meal. Great getaway weekend for one or two couples, and the owner graciously permitted our dogs. I'd be delighted to visit this cabin again. Very positive experience from start to finish. What a wonderful, cozy, and very welcoming home. Me, my husband, my step-son, and our two Chiweenies (Ace and Oso) really enjoyed our first trip out to the White Mountains. We have the most wonderful stay at your beautiful cabin! The decor was so cute and the cabin very cozy and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. We spent one day skiing at Sunrise and another fishing at Fool Hollow Lake, both of which were nearby. You had so many nice extras, like the firewood, bath supplies and kitchen gear that was in such excellent condition. We really liked the location away from any traffic noise and very secluded. We enjoyed the nice view of the town at night from the hilltop location, the outdoor fire pit and the wood-burning fireplace inside each night. We would definitely like to stay again in the future!

We had the best time! The cabin is so homey and cozy! We absolutely loved looking at all the great collectibles you have decorated with. I took my mother to celebrate her 95th birthday and she was so impressed with the cleanliness and the "tasteful decor." We can't wait to go again.

Julie's cabin is the PERFECT cozy, secluded forest getaway. My husband and I have stayed in many a rental condo and cabin in our day and Julie's place is without a doubt the CLEANEST, most well-stocked place we've come across. One of the most pleasant surprises for us was the water heater and the plumbing. We stayed for an entire week and never once ran out of hot water or had problems with the plumbing. The views and surrounding environment are lovely and peaceful - the photos she's posted somehow don't do it justice. Thanks so much Julie for all you must do to keep up the place up and for making it feel so welcoming and cozy. I am so glad you rent it out and you can count on us being back soon!

I already sent a letter to Julie upon our return from staying in the cabin; however, I wanted to also post a comment to potential renters. After searching on the internet, I came across this cabin. It looked great and the price was right. Of course, I had hesitation to rent something not knowing how clean or nice it would really be in person. I’ve heard horror stories from others and had my concerns. When we arrived I was excited to find such a cozy and homey cabin. I immediately felt at home. The cabin was immaculately clean and dust-free. Whoever, the cleaning service is that Julie uses sure does an amazing job! They have lots of games, puzzles and the observation desk is absolutely awesome. So…don't hesitate on renting this cabin. You will love it and enjoy your time spent.

Hi Julie, I just wanted to send an email to let you know that we really enjoyed staying in your cabin. It was a relaxing and mellow New Years for us and we were hoping for snow. There was some snow on the ground when we arrived Friday afternoon and later that evening we did get to see falling snow for a few hours. The cabin was extremely clean and well-kept and had plenty of stuff "just-in-case". Our dog, Harley, had an even better time (his first time in the snow) with all the trees and landscape that he was able to sniff. He made himself at home after the first day. We truly enjoyed the warmth and coziness of your cabin and have been telling all our friends and co-workers about it. We are looking forward to a return visit sometime in 2007. Happy New Year! What a great get-away and only 31/2 hours from home. Other than food and personal needs, everything was provided- couldn't have been any easier. It was so cozy that we only ventured into town one time. Got great photos of the sunrise and sunse! Hope to make it back up in July to escape the heat.
