Built in the late 1800's by the island's first contractor, he named the home "Chatterbox" for his wife. Whether or not she appreciated the honour is not known, but the care and detail that went into construction is obvious.
Located in the heart of Dunmore Town, Chatterbox is a three bedroom (two queens, one twin), two bath home with wood floors, comfortable furniture and lots of charm. A second floor patio and widow's walk offer stunning sunset views. A porch swing on the front patio encourages late afternoon naps and an appreciation for the island breeze.
Literally steps away from the grocery store, bakery and deli nothing is out of reach. The pink sand beach is only a short walk away and golf carts are available for hire for exploring the island. Bone fishing and deep sea fishing, SCUBA diving and snorkeling are all easily accessible services! The services of a housekeeper are included each morning except on Sunday's. |
