Why the Owner Chose Islamorada
After looking at many condos in the Middle Keys and Upper Keys, we bought this wonderful 5th floor oceanfront end unit because of the bright open feel of the layout and wonderful panoramic views. So many condos in the Keys feel like you are in a tunnel with no side windows. The large extra window in the living room makes you feel as though you are in a home rather than a condo. We also loved that both bedrooms have a full ocean view, which is very unique, and that you can access the oceanfront balcony from both bedrooms as well as the living room. An unsuspected surprise was the privacy afforded by this property - and that the pool is situated in such a way that one doesn't feel as though in a "fish bowl" while swimming or lounging poolside.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy the wonderful sunrise and reflective sunset views and the peaceful, serene location as this condominium community is not on US 1, so there is no traffic noise. We really love that our condo is directly on the ocean with nothing between us and the wide open clear crystal blue waters. Seeing all the pelicans flying past our balcony, and watching the sea life is a fun bonus. The location is very convenient, close to many wonderful restaurants and things to do.

My husband and I bought this condo with the intent to have this tropical retreat become our winter retirement home. We love the beautiful peaceful location and the crystal clear waters and watching pelicans fly past the balcony, sometimes so close you feel you could almost touch them. We like watching the fishing boats leave and enter Tavernier Creek just north of us. Also love the beautiful clear starry nights. It is still a few years till retirement with a young child, so in the meantime, we are happy and busy enjoying life in Wisconsin.

The views from the condo are breathtaking. The balcony seats four comfortably. We enjoyed sitting there with our morning coffee and just relaxing ithere in the evening. The condos are constructed so you can't see people sitting in the balcony next to you. It really is private. The pool is immaculate and the charcoal grills on the beach were great! The condo itself is very clean and cozy. It was a wonderful relaxing vacation!

We spent one week in September 2010 and it was a wonderful experience. The condo was very clean with an exceptional view. The pool and garden were exceptionally maintain. I would recommend this to anyone.

We were fortunate enough to spend a week at this condo. It is all as posted and the only surprise was it was actually as advertised. Very clean, all amenities that are needed and more. Wonderful location within the building and stunning views. Owners are very easy to work with and very fast communications. Great place! Great Owners! Would definitely recommend staying here. It's a great unit. Had a wonderful stay.

I am a military member who just got back from the Middle East and needed some good R&R plus some "Fun-In-the-Sun"! I've never been to the Florida Keys and decided I needed to see what it was all about. I couldn't have planned better. The owners are very easy and nice to work with - what a pleasent experience. The condo itself is extremely clean, very comfortable, and boy, what a view. The profile pictures are nice, but there's nothing like being there and seeing it for yourself. The owners also had plenty of informational notebooks and pamphlets to assist with "Things-to-Do" and/or any emergencies. There are many nice restaurants close by and all over the Keys, and also a full service grocery store nearby for eating in. The condo pool, grounds, lobby, and laundry facilities, were very well maintained. I was able to visit many different areas (parks, beaches, and attractions) from Key Largo to Key West. It's a great location. My favorite was snorkeling. Seeing the coral reef from a fish's view was an awesome experience. You just can't get that anywhere else in the Continental US. Not sure when I can, but definitly will plan another trip there. It's well worth it! My hat goes off to the owners - thank you again for the wonderful condo and making my R&R trip easy! I'll never forget it!

We really enjoyed our stay in this excellent condo. We were two adults and two kids there for a week and it has everything you need. The view from the balcony is spectacular and we made sure to go out there every morning to sit and watch the sunrise and simply to enjoy the weather, the birds and not least the silence. The pool area is nice but the condo is also convienently located for going to places like Anne’s Beach, Founders Park and even up to South Beach in Miami to go swimming which we did. We also went down to Key West one day and although we have been there several times it’s still a fascinating place to see. Thank you for a very successful holiday, we would love to come back some other time.

Wow! Where do I begin?! THIS PLACE IS SPECTACULAR! My friend and I arrived around 1am Sunday morning. I could hear the ocean but could not see it, so I wasn't sure just how close we were to the ocean. The condo was immaculate!! I heard of the problem Florida has with roaches so I was a little concerned about that. HOWEVER>>> This place is so immaculately cared for, I never saw a single bug of any kind, anywhere on the property. The two bedrooms were wonderfully spacious and the beds are more comfortable than the one I have at home! The living room has beautiful Bahaman style furnishings and a kitchen with a full sized stove and refrigerator/freezer. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans to cook with. If my vacation was judged strictly on the condo and location to attractions, I would have scored it 10 out of 5! ...then, I woke the next morning...OMG!! The view is beyond breath-taking! As a 5th floor, corner-unit, ocean front view, I have NEVER stayed in a nicer place! Everywhere I looked I saw ocean!!! Every morning, I watched the sunrise over the ocean from my bed. It was... surreal!!! I had serious thoughts of calling the kids and telling them to sell everything cuz I am staying right here (!!!), albeit… the owners of the condo would have something to say about that, probably. :^) And talk about the owners, Donna Rice is genuine, honest and kind. She cares as much for the condo as she does the people she leases to. She was always ready and available if we needed anything and very gracious!!! This is her home away from home and she lovingly looks after it. I felt like I was bestowed a great honor for being invited into this glorious ocean-side home. Having been a recent victim of a Key West Florida condo scam, I was very nervous about renting from another condo owner. Donna insisted that I call her Condo manager to check out her credentials and to verify that she was who she said she was. She is completely reputable and trustworthy. As to the price, it was less $$$ than any one-room hotel in Key West, less $$$ than other condos in Key West and had a WAY better view!!! Considering Key West was about an hour drive away, I found this condo a significantly better deal than any other place I looked at…and I must have looked at 30! If you want the vacation of a lifetime in the Florida Keys, you MUST rent this condo!! Definitely a 10+ out of 5 stars! -Julie from Savage, MN
