Our family had a great time at this magificent location in Big Bear. This home is exactly what it states it is. The home is beautiful and clean. We felt at home immediately. Our kids had such a good time playing outside and with all the fun toys this house had, no one wanted to leave. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this gorgeous log cabin! We will definitely come back!

We're a family of 8 adults and 3 children and went to Big Bear for a weekend. From the game room to the outdoor deck with a hot tub and barbecue, we and the kids had a lot of entertainment. Very well located, the house is well equipped and clean. A lot of space and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Bottom line: I would recommend this house to a friend.

This is our second stay at Gary and Mara's place and we can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was. The little things like supplying great kitchen cooking supplies and utensils, and providing enough paper products to let us keep the home as clean as it should be maintained were noted. All of the extras like TV's in every room, the wonderful gameroom, the hottub, the gas fireplace, and the wonderfully comfortable couch in the main living area sets the house apart from others that dont' strive for the best. Normally I worry about how clean the linens, etc are and when staying here I was 100% satisfied with the comfortable bedding and knowing it was all well cleaned and kept up. Finally, working with the owners, Gary and Mara was a real pleasure. You can tell how much they love thier home and strive to make your vacation experience one that you will remember and want to repeat in the very near future. We are grateful for Gary and Mara and appreciate them sharing their home away from home with us! This is definitely a home you want to treat as your home away from home so that you get the opportunity to stay there again. Thanks again Gary and Mara!

We have stayed at this house, with another family, multiple times and it has never disappointed. The comfort, warmth and amenities are as advertised. The owners follows up with us to make sure everything is OK and wants to make sure our needs are met. This is our week of family play in the snow and each trip has created great family memories. The house is spacious and invites you to just relax with plenty of room for everyone to have a fun relaxing time. We had 9 people in our group with no issues of space or comfort.

This is the 3rd time we have had the pleasure of staying in this home. And I know it will not be the last. It is beautiful inside, but also so comfortable and well planned. There were 11 of us, including 6 kids 10 and under. yet, we were never crowded or on top of one another. The game room in the garage is a huge hit with the kids when they were not outside throwing snowballs or building things out of snow. I love the flat lot and east accessibility during the winter. We have stayed up in the mountains and that can be a bit hairy interns of the drive. No stress with this house. I would highly recommend it without reservation!

This was our second year staying at Eagle Point, and once again we were not disappointed! The property is wonderful, close to the slopes and stores. The owners pay attention to every detail of the house. The game room kept all our kids entertained, the jacuzzi was relaxing, the kitchen is fully stocked. THE best cabin in Big Bear! Home away from home!

This was our 2nd stay at Eagle Point Escape and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Gary and Mara's attention to detail make this THE best place to vacation in all of Big Bear. The layout is open and roomy. The furniture is top quality, comfortable and make it easy to have 10-12 people without feeling crowded. The beds are SO comfortable ..best sleep ever. Nothing has been overlooked..the gorgeous kitchen has everything. We ate in for every meal over our 5 night stay and the pots, pans, cookie sheets, griddle, coffee pot, measuring items etc all came in handy. The young adults loved the game tables and we all loved the jacuzzi. There are 2 BBQ's for outdoor cooking too! This cabinbalso has an awesome large screen TV, DVD movies, lots of books and a beautiful, large, fireplace to enjoy. Being right up the street from both Bear Mountain, Snow Summit and all stores made this vacation so much easier and enjoyable for everyone. There are also some really cool hiking trails nearby for those who like to explore. We came this time to celebrate my son's 21st birthday and as soon as we walked in the door everyone said "wow, this place is beautiful!" None of us wanted to leave and after staying here, we all wish we could move to Big Bear! Thank you for everything, Gary and Mara..for opening up your home for all of us and for your special attention to everything pertaining to this trip...we will be back again!

I can't really say enough about this house. It's beautiful and perfect for families. The kids loved the game room and my wife and I loved the kitchen, deck, family room and spacious rooms. It has everything that makes for a very well equipped house including kitchen appliances and cooking utensils, DVDs, pool table, ping-pong table, air hockey, comfortable beds, fireplace, grill, hot tub, all in perfect condition and kept clean. Probably the best part is that the owner is excellent to deal with. We dealt only by phone and he answered all my questions and was always very prompt with replies. This was our first experience with Gary and although we loved this house, we'll gladly return to any of his properties.

This property is exactly as listed - beautifully designed, large kitchen and great-sized rooms. This house is perfect for a large group, especially because of the open floor plan which allows everyone to hang out together, whether in the kitchen, living room or dining room. The property is very private, and the game room was a huge plus. Most importantly, Gary & Mara were very accommodating to all of our needs :) This is definitely a house we'd rent again. What a fantastic weekend! Great snow, great company, and what a brilliant house. A diamond in the rough when it comes to rentals. The house is gorgeous, tastefully decorated, has tons of amenities (ping pong, pool, and air hockey) and is extremely comfortable. I wish I had a couch as big and comfortable at my own house. All and all Eagle point stood out amongst every other vacation rental I've stayed in. I can't wait to come back up the hill!

We just finished our 6 th year in a row staying at this house and the one across the street, staying with 20 women who have been friends for more than 20 years. We used to move around to different places every year, but once we found these two houses on Andes lane, we've been super happy. Everything we need for a great weekend, great accomodations and kitchen materials and very responsive owner. Can't wait to extend it to year #7.

This place is everything it says it is and more. Great amenities. Excellent location. It is very close to town and plenty of places to eat. Grocery store is 2 minutes down the road. The game room is fantastic with pool, air hockey, and ping pong plus plenty of space to store any equipment. Amazing vacation thanks to this great place. Definitely recommend it!

This is a beautiful home, located very close to ski summit. The house was very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 9 (4 adults, 5 children). Our children loved playing ping pong, pool, air hockey after having a great day of fun on the ski slopes. Every part of the house allows us to relax and enjoy the amenities. We left with many happy memories and feeling very relaxed. I highly recommend this house for the Big Bear vacation.

This cabin was AMAZING!!!! we arrived friday night followed direction provided by renter to the lock box and made our way in to the cabin. Didn't really know what to expect. With the flick of the light we were all shocked by the beauty, coziness and cleanliness of this cabin! as you enter you walk directly in the the living and dining rooms. I went directly for the big corduroy couch that was very comfy! Accompanying the couch was a big flat panel HD tv with HD cable (very nice) ! The kitchen was great; open concept designed into the living room, so while you cook you never leave the room (or the TV!), granite counter tops, big cook top,oven and microwave, and nice set of all sizes and shapes of pots and pans. Beds were clean and comfortable, master bed room was beautiful with full tile shower bathroom, with a full spa/tub! Back down to the garage, oh soo much fun! full game room with pool table, ping pong table, air hockey and another couch! We cant forget about the hot tub out side! Great for soaking you muscles after a long day of ski/snowboarding! Overall great cabin, big, spacious, minutes to the slopes and near by grocery store. I will defiantly recommend this cabin to every one! (just not the weekends i would want to go up!)

Our family enjoyed a fantastic stay in this beautiful cabin during Christmas break! Each family member had a nice room to stay in and the great room/kitchen area was the perfect gathering spot for all. The cabin's location to the Snow Summit/Bear Mtn. shuttle to the slopes was very handy--just across the street! We loved that this cabin has no other cabins around it--just open meadow and a street. It looked just like the picture for us after a beautiful blizzard during our stay! Great neighborhood to walk in and close to the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at this cabin was wonderful. We enjoyed having all the amenities, especially the game room, that provided fun and entertainment for all ages. The decor was inviting, warm, and comfortable, creating the charm we look for in a mountain get-away...and spacious enough to accommodate our group of 10. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the tools we could possibly need, and the home was clean and neat as a pin. Everything was perfect, from first contact with the owners Gary and Lisa who answered all of my questions and concerns about the house to the detailed instructions on what to do at the end of our stay. When we first arrived the pictures does not do it justice, we stayed at this spacious, clean, smoke free, and kid-friendly home from 7/16-19/2010. This was our first family get together and will make this an annual place to stay for our family from now on. The home was perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids (5-11 y/o) and can accomodate up to 12 people max. The kids had such a great time in the game room that it was hard for them to leave, we ended up staying in the house most of the time. It was perfect! The cousins hardly see each other and ended up sleeping together in the bunk beds while our husbands had their brotherly bonding over video games (which we brought with us). The kitchen was a pleasure to prepare meals as my sister-in-law and I caught up on our family's milestones. The home was well-stocked that all we had to buy were the perishable items. The free wi-fi is a plus. The neighborhood is safe and you could walk to the library, starbucks, and grocery stores. Not a lot of traffic through the streets at all, quiet at night. Wonderful owners and a pleasure to do business with and they really take care and love this house. The whole time the owners where just a phone call away. It was also nice to meet Gary in person as he was in town. Highly recommend to families with children and grandparents. Reasonable price, well worth it!

We had a great time in Big Bear at this great home. This was our third stay at this property over the past 5 years. The home is maintained meticulously and the owners are extremely responsive to any concerns. The kitchen makes it easy to eat in and the menu binder gave us good choices for eating out. Maggio's was a good choice. We hope to return next summer.

8 of us just enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful home. Very well appointed. Has everything you will need. Kids enjoyed the game room, boardgames, and large collection of DVD's. We had nice time hanging around the large kitchen island cooking and talking. House is large enough that everyone could find a place to sit read and be alone if wanted, yet also had large living room / dining table area to get together and play games as a group. Myself and six of my friends stayed at the Eagle Point property for a snowboarding weekend at Big Bear. We could not have asked for a better location. Eagle Point Escape and Eagle Point Retreat have been our group’s fall destination homes for four years now and with 20 women, you know they have to be fantastic for the continued return trips. For years prior to finding these homes it was hit and miss as most vacation homes were older and had electrical or other problems or just smelled musty. These homes are always beautifully decorated, always clean, always packed with everything you need for your vacation. The owners are wonderful and at your beck and call during your stay – no property management company to deal with. Whether you have a large group or just your family, there is no better place to stay in Big Bear!

A great time was had by all! We had a fabulous summer getaway at the house...3 families with plenty of room and plenty to do! Great cabin and perfect for three families with kids! Everyone had a great time. There is a large common area where everybody can hang out. The kitchen is large and allows for cooking delicious meals. The location can't be beat as it is literally only a couple blocks from Snow Summit. The owners really keep the place well-maintained and do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We just wanted to let everyone know that we had a really great time at your cabin! The kids had so much space to play around in the snow, it was awesome! The house was beautiful and the kitchen was superb. We really appreciated the pots, pans, utensils.....the fully stocked kitchen really made cooking for so many easy! This cabin was perfect for our stay in Big Bear, Superbowl Weekend! Went up there with family and some friends to celebrate my son's 15th birthday, and the accomodation could not have been any better! I recommend this cabin to anybody that wants to have a hassle free weekend away in Big Bear!

Your home definately felt like a home away from home! It looks much better in person, was very spacious and comfy, and the kitchen was easy to use. There were up to 3 of us cooking at one point and we never bumped into each other which was great. The hot tub was marvelous although it was 19 degrees outside. I would definately recommend your home to others, and i will definately be back.
