This beautiful cottage is a great family escape on Lake Leelanau as it is spacious enough to accommodate a large family or many families together. The cottage is located at West Wind Resort and has over 400 feet of lake-frontage. Lake Leelanau is perfect for swimming, fishing, water sports, and more.
If you are looking to go boating, catch some fish, roast marshmallows around the bonfire, relax while your children play at the large playground, or sit back and read a book on the beautiful beach, this is the perfect place.
The cottage sits off the water with full use of the lakefront including the firepits, gazebo, and beautiful sandy beach, while also providing a private area to escape. The wooded backyard is equipped with a private hot tub, gas grill, picnic table on a deck. For families with children (including teenagers) or those looking for outdoor activities, a large playground area is onsite along with a basketball court, volleyball court, and a large yard for activities at the Resort.
The Resort offers the opportunity to enjoy the extra amenities while the cottage offers privacy with a back deck where family activities can take place. The Resort is perfect for children of all ages to enjoy the many activities available. You won't hear, "I'm bored," from your children during your stay.
A private, protected harbor with a boat slip is available with in and out access for smaller boats right at the Resort and one mile down the shore for larger boats. Lake Leelanau is one of the most pristine lakes for water sports and fishing. The many sandbars provide great stops for swimming while the lake is excellent for skiing, tubing, and boating. This lake is perfect for the novice boater or the most experienced. Take your boat to the town of Lake Leelanau, for ice cream in the Narrows, or for shopping or eating in Leland. The lake has many opportunities for wonderful family time and to escape to a life of relaxation.
The newly updated cottage is filled with sunlight with its big windows located in the great-room. A gas fireplace is a special addition to the cottage in a room that accommodates many. The bedrooms are spacious and have a king, queen, bunks, and daybed/trundle beds. The newly remodeled bathroom has a new, large shower that includes a sitting area.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, gas oven, and all of the necessary accessories to make your stay easy. A washer and dryer are also located in the cottage. A living area adds a perfect appeal with its knotty pine walls and is a prime location for reading, playing cards, or just relaxing.
The splendor of the rolling hills of Leelanau County with the vineyards and orchards provides the perfect backdrop while the few miles to Traverse City offers to appeal of shopping, movies, and activities. Whether you are looking for a couples getaway to tour the wineries or a family vacation to boat and swim, this is the place for you.

The Cottage is Available for $2000/Week in the summer.
Half of payment due at reservation and other half due 45 days prior to arrival.
After Labor Day Weekend, the cottage is available by the wknd, wk, or mo.
In the summer, check-in is Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
In the summer, check-Out is the Following Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
June special- $1400/week
July and August discounts for reserving early.
Off-season by the month- $1000

Evening bonfires, volleyball games, swimming in an incredibly beautiful lake, amazing sunsets, relaxing beach, and more. What else could a family want? Thank you for such a great vacation.

This is our third year here and we hope for many more. We have a big family and have rented out multiple houses. We love yours the best at the resort as it is so spacious and clean. Here is to family reunions and Lake Leelanau!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We loved the location and did day-trips to great places like the Sleeping Bear Dunes. What a fantastic time at a fantastic place. Thanks for all the "extras" that made our stay even more enjoyable.
