The Volcano Rainforest Chalet is an absolute incredible and magical vacation rental right in Volcano Village. A perfect location right next to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Totally private, this rental is nestled in the lush tropical rainforest of Volcano Village. Awaken to an abundance of songbirds and the picturesque tropical forest surrounding you. Build by a local craftsman, the house has lots of windows and skylights and features open beamed ceiling construction. The tranquil and peaceful atmosphere of our place is sure to help you relax after a busy day exploring the Volcanoes National Park. It is also a perfect place to stay for a honeymoon, anniversary, or just a romantic getaway.

We are proud to be able to share our special place in paradise with you. We also live in Volcano Village, so we are always available to answer any questions you may have. For stays of 2 nights or more we will be happy to supply some complimentary breakfast fixings for your use...and of course, fresh tropical flowers will always be in the house.

Other Activities	Hiking in and around Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Spelunking - walk and explore a real lava tube!, Biking ( Rentals in Hilo), Golf at the Volcano Golf & Country Club just a couple of miles up the road, bird watchin, shopping in Volcano and Hilo 1/2 drive, Restaurants ( we have 2 upscale dinner places, a Great Thai Restaurant, a reasonable Hamburger Lunch and Dinner place, and a new pizza restaurant, Museums ( Jaggar Museum in the National Park, and Lyman History Museum in Hilo, they have a great Mineral Collection), Hilo Zoo, not to be missed, and it is free, Swimming & Snorkeling at Punaluu Black Sand Beach or Hilo Richardson Beach, both only 1/2 hour drive, For diving we recommend to go with Nautilus Dive Center in Hilo, stargazing ( also visit Mauna Kea Observatory ), Hilo Botanical Gardens, Akaka Falls, Queens Bath Hot Pond, Kapoho Tidepools, Waipio Valley, lots of things to explore and visit when staying in Volcano Village
