Sits directly between the two Snowshoe entrances Directly across from The Raven Golf Course! 2 Loft areas are located in the A frame vaulted ceiling(chateau style). There are two SLEEPING AREAS and a couch. There are 2 BEDS with one in each of the lofts(separate bedding areas separated by a wall), and a couch with blankets on the first floor. Note:The Loft areas are separated by a wall for privacy. The current bedroom pic does not reflect this. Downstairs is one large great room with a kitchen, dining room table, living room and a separate bath. There are two skylights. The walls are made out of six inch logs as seen in pictures,and the ceiling is knotty pine. Stairs are actual cedar beams and logs. Electric fireplace in living room.
Unit is well maintained and clean. Very rustic and cozy(downright nice)!! There is a full kitchen with pans and such for your use. It is well stocked but you may need to bring specialty or particular items. Floors are Slate, Hickory,Cedar and Carpet. The hot tub is next door. Parking is in front of the unit. No more long hikes from the parking lot!
There is a 36" TV w/ Sat TV downstairs and a 23" Flat Screen w/ Sat TV on 2nd floor. There is an I Pod ready stereo on each floor. Most of my renters are families and as a father I know the kids tend to hijack the TV so I split them up.
This is a fairly quiet location and is very close to the slopes. It is located in very wooded area. You can literally hike for days out of the front door. Cass, Big Springs,and other desirable locations are nearby. Affordable grocery, movie rental, and eateries are close to home. Year Purchased: 2005
Frequent visitor to the Snowshoe area.We like watching the kids enjoy and learn to appreciate the mountain environment and outdoor experience. Even if it is just for a few days at a time, they never forget the time the spend there. Nothing makes you smile like seeing an 8 year old climb to the top of her first mountain.
Why the Owner Chose Snowshoe
It's location is close to all of Pocahontas Counties outdoor activities, especially the biking/hiking right out the front door. I am able to park directly in front of my house. But most of all the resort is within sight but I have peace and quiet. Surrounded by nature. On top of that I can cook in my own kitchen and the community is excellent. Kids can play outside and the I can walk the dog for miles.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Excellent hot tub facilities, parking right out front, a yard, cheap restaurants, a market outside of the resort, the creek, riding my bike to the Greenbrier river trail and turning south to get coffee in Marlinton, walking my pup, privacy, friendly neighbors, minutes to skiing, affordable ski shops, and a great deal more.

The place was everything my kids and I needed. The short drive to the Snowshoe or Silvercreek areas nice. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. The condo had everything we needed. All you need to bring is food, clothes and ski equipment. Billy gives you great tips on the area, especially on dining. We had a blast, thanks Billy, I will recommend your condo to friends.

Billy is such a congenial host who went out of his way to ensure our stay in Snowshoe was top notch. We found the cabin to be well equipped, clean, and cozy. The slopes are literally minutes away from the quaint abode. The kids and I loved the cute little lofts that formed the bedrooms and really appreciated having two TVs to unwind with at the end of the day. We'd highly recommend this cabin and our host!

It is a wonderful cabin. We had a great time It is a lovely location and all the accommodations made us feel like we were at home. Billy was very helpful and personable. We'll definitely be back and I would recommend his condo. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

Pictures don't do this place justice. The "cabin" was picturesque, and oh so comfy. Even the small details like sharp knives and good kitchen utensils were spot on. If you are looking to stay in a great place and deal with a truely great homeowner, look no further. I have rented from a few condo owners in the Snowshoe area. After dealing with Billy I will not need to rent from another. I have stayed over 20 times at his condo becuase it is always a great experience. The location suited my needs above and beyond what I expected. The Condo is always clean and Billy follows up with you directly to service your stay with you in mind. I can honestly say I feel Billy goes above and beyond and his efforts pay off becuase I never want to stay or deal with anyone else. The Hot tub was always properly cleaned and maintained and is pretty much right outside the Condo. Thank you Billy! I can't wait to return!!!!

My family and I came to this property in July. Billy, the owner, is the host with the most! He gave perfect directions and was MORE than helpful with all of our questions, big and small! The appearance and upkeep of the property were great and we would highly recommend it to a small group. We have four people in our family and Billy gave us directions to an excellent bike path, as well as a good local restaurant! All of his recommendations were spot on! Thanks for making our vacation perfect! We will be back again in the Winter!

Three reasons to stay rent from Billy. 1) Cleanliness- the place was spotless when we arrived. 2) Bang for your buck- absolutely fantastic place to stay for the price! Not a long drive to the slopes and close to the store, some ski shops and a few places to grab a bite. There is also a hot tub that is perfect for when when you get off the slopes or back from hiking nearby trails. 3) Billy Davis- great person to rent from. If you have any problems at all, Billy will take care of them. He gave us great directions, great dining ideas, good snowboard runs to hit on the mountain, and most of all great service and a great place to stay at an affordable price. My rating for this rental, based on a scale of 1-10 is a 99. Rent for Billy and you won't regret it! Thanks again Billy, we had a great time! We look forward to seeing you next season.

Overlook Condo and Billy Davis are awesome. My family enjoyed a seven day vacation in Pocahontas County! Our experience could not have been better. Upon arriving we had a slight inconvenience that was quickly corrected with the help of the property manager Brian and the owner Billy. The space was perfect for my family of five. We loved the hot tub!! It is very quick and convenient to get to the mountain, only 6 miles to "the top of the world" We can't wait to rent again! Thanks for EVERYTHING Billy!

Billy provided a fantastic experience with our first rental on VRBO....quickly followed-up on my inquiry, easy payment options, and gave us great directions that got us to the cabin in no time. The condo is very well kept, a short drive to Snowshoe, yet just enough removed that it feels secluded and wild. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book with Billy for our next stay in Snowshoe...thank you!
