The condo was exactly what we were looking for and it was just as described by Billy. He was most helpful while making our reservations as well as informative regarding the areas restaurants and other attractions. The location is great and convenient without being right up the business of the town. We would definitely stay with Billy again!

The place was everything my kids and I needed. The short drive to the Snowshoe or Silvercreek areas nice. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. The condo had everything we needed. All you need to bring is food, clothes and ski equipment. Billy gives you great tips on the area, especially on dining. We had a blast, thanks Billy, I will recommend your condo to friends.

The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable ski getaway. Just bring your equipment and food! Billy was SO accomodating and provided us with so much helpful information. Best of all... we could bring our dog with us! She stayed in her crate most of the time but it was awesome that we could bring her to forego boarding costs and see her reation to her first snow!

Billy is such a congenial host who went out of his way to ensure our stay in Snowshoe was top notch. We found the cabin to be well equipped, clean, and cozy. The slopes are literally minutes away from the quaint abode. The kids and I loved the cute little lofts that formed the bedrooms and really appreciated having two TVs to unwind with at the end of the day. We'd highly recommend this cabin and our host!

Pictures don't do this place justice. The "cabin" was picturesque, and oh so comfy. Even the small details like sharp knives and good kitchen utensils were spot on. If you are looking to stay in a great place and deal with a truely great homeowner, look no further. I have rented from a few condo owners in the Snowshoe area. After dealing with Billy I will not need to rent from another. I have stayed over 20 times at his condo becuase it is always a great experience. The location suited my needs above and beyond what I expected. The Condo is always clean and Billy follows up with you directly to service your stay with you in mind. I can honestly say I feel Billy goes above and beyond and his efforts pay off becuase I never want to stay or deal with anyone else. The Hot tub was always properly cleaned and maintained and is pretty much right outside the Condo. Thank you Billy! I can't wait to return!!!!

Snowshow in Summer

My family and I came to this property in July. Billy, the owner, is the host with the most! He gave perfect directions and was MORE than helpful with all of our questions, big and small! The appearance and upkeep of the property were great and we would highly recommend it to a small group. We have four people in our family and Billy gave us directions to an excellent bike path, as well as a good local restaurant! All of his recommendations were spot on! Thanks for making our vacation perfect! We will be back again in the Winter!

Three reasons to stay rent from Billy. 1) Cleanliness- the place was spotless when we arrived. 2) Bang for your buck- absolutely fantastic place to stay for the price! Not a long drive to the slopes and close to the store, some ski shops and a few places to grab a bite. There is also a hot tub that is perfect for when when you get off the slopes or back from hiking nearby trails. 3) Billy Davis- great person to rent from. If you have any problems at all, Billy will take care of them. He gave us great directions, great dining ideas, good snowboard runs to hit on the mountain, and most of all great service and a great place to stay at an affordable price. My rating for this rental, based on a scale of 1-10 is a 99. Rent for Billy and you won't regret it! Thanks again Billy, we had a great time! We look forward to seeing you next season.

Overlook Condo and Billy Davis are awesome. My family enjoyed a seven day vacation in Pocahontas County! Our experience could not have been better. Upon arriving we had a slight inconvenience that was quickly corrected with the help of the property manager Brian and the owner Billy. The space was perfect for my family of five. We loved the hot tub!! It is very quick and convenient to get to the mountain, only 6 miles to "the top of the world" We can't wait to rent again! Thanks for EVERYTHING Billy!

Billy provided a fantastic experience with our first rental on VRBO....quickly followed-up on my inquiry, easy payment options, and gave us great directions that got us to the cabin in no time. The condo is very well kept, a short drive to Snowshoe, yet just enough removed that it feels secluded and wild. This was the second year in a row we have stayed at Billy's place in snowshoe and my girlfriend and I love it. Great location right at the base of the mountain next to rental shops and the market. We loved it so much we will be trying to return next month. Thanks again Billy!!!

Me and my finance stayed at Billy's for the long Thanks-Giving weekend and we had the best time ever. It was 4 yrs ago since the last time we visited West Va. and this time we did it right by staying at Billys. It was the 1st snow fall and it was abosoutely romantic and the location was perfect for us. Thanks again Billy for all the assistance and education about the area!!

Comment Text: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Overlook Condos and would definitely stay there again. The unit was very comfortable, well furnished, attractive, clean and had all the amenities we wanted. The hot tub is fantastic, especially after a long day of skiing, and very close to the unit. The location of the condos is great, close to both the resort and off-resort facilities, and easy in and out access. We were there Presidents' Day weekend 2006, but the short drive to the slopes was never crowded or longer than 10 minutes. The proprietor, Mr. Davis, is an encyclopedia of helpful information about the resort and surroundings and went out of his way to help us, from driving directions to restaurant recommendations to advice on the best ski runs. I highly recommend the condo to anyone interested in a good skiing experience or just a relaxing stay at Snowshoe.

Great location and accomodations. Close enough to the action but away enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains. We really enjoyed the place, it is very quiet, in a beautiful setting, clean, well equipped and cozy. The location is ideal, very close to the sky slopes. Do not forget to bring your bathing suits: the hot tub is a real treat! And last but not least, the ownwer is a very nice person!

We visited the Overlook condo during our Christmas vacation. Billy (the host) was extremely helpful. He truly cared that our stay would be enjoyable. The onsite manager was available and friendly. The condo itself is cozy and inviting. If you come, look for the golden retriever. He loves to chase a ball and will playfully take your goggles if you are not quick to oblige him. Hopefully, like us, it will be snowing when you arrive, and when you leave. Enjoy! Elaine
