Our stay at the Sandpiper was very enjoyable. It was very, very clean and the house exceeded our expectations. We had 5 people stay very comfortably. The two king beds is a plus and I like the twin beds better than bunks. The photos accurately reflect the appearance of the house. There were plenty of towels.There was also plenty of closet space and hangers in the closets. It allowed us to feel as though we weren't living out of a suitcase. Our very favorite part was the screened porch. We spent most of our vacation out there. Having a tv in each bedroom offered personal time for each person. If you go to Destin for the golf is absolutely wonderful! The only thing we would have changed was it's proximity to the beach. The grounds are maintained beautifully and every day we woke up saying, " it's another day in paradise".

We have stayed in several different units around Sandestin as we love the resort. This ranks amont the best. Wonderful layout for the family, all the descriptions from the website are reflected in the unit. The unit was clean and ready for us as promised. I think the only issue was, we had to go home. Sandestin has all one needs for a wonderful vacation. Staying in a condo like this one makes for a perfect vacation.

My family and I loved Sandestin, the beach, pool and the bike rides. This is a wonderful place for a family vacation. I would definitely come back for another great Spring Break. The property was exactly as described, very homey and kid friendly. Thanks so much for the beautiful week of family fun and vacation. We were able to bring our two malti poo puppies who would have not like staying behind. We were also able to take an excursion to Pensacola to the naval airbase and the kids loved seeing the jets and Blue Angels.

Excellent quiet stay with easy access to everything Destin has to offer

The pictures do not come close to doing this place justice. It is very nicely decorated and roomy with great spots to lounge inside, on the screened porch, and on the balcony upstairs. You are right on the 10th hole of an excellent golf course, so it is an easy walk with your bag to the clubhouse for an early morning round. The whole area was also a great place to go out and walk. They are small lakes EVERYWHERE which really help add to the atmosphere. It was a short drive into town where there were tons of shopping and restaurant options. It was about a 10 minute casual walk to the (breathtaking) private beach or an easy 3-5 minute bike ride or 2 minute card ride. The whole vacation met and exceeded all of our expectations and we will definitely be returning in the future. Everything was very clean and well maintained and we would recommend it without hesitation to anyone. Thanks, J.L. for all your help in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable!

The accommodations and amenities at Sandpiper in Sandestin are excellent. EVERYthing we needed was available to us, including a well-supplied kitchen, abundant bath towels, beach chairs and towels, DVD and CD players, bicycles, grill, etc. Additionally, everything was meticulously clean, both inside and out. Of course we loved the beautiful beaches, the pool and on site shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed Another Broken Egg for breakfast. We have 3 teen-age girls, all of whom enjoyed roaming around Sandestin on bikes or walking paths. We look forward to another wonderful week next summer!

Perfect Place to Be

This was the perfect place for our family! Thank you for recommending this property, the house was set up perfect for three families! The kitchen and dining area(s) were awesome for evening gatherings and the location of the house couldn't have been more perfect! We greatly enjoyed being within walking distance to a pool and the golf course, and the beach was extremely accessible. We loved being in SanDestin and will most definitely seek out this neiborhood for our next family vacation.

We were here the whole week before Memorial Day (May 21-28, 2011). This villa was lovely and a good size. We had 7 adults, one 4-yr-old and one toddler and didn't feel like we were on top of each other all the time. I loved that it had 2 king sized beds because we had 3 couples and we are all tall :)! One couple had to sleep in the twins, but they are used to that because they usually sleep with a large dog between them :). We ate in most of the time for every meal, so the kitchen was a bit small when it came time to eat, but we made it work. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was necessary for as often as we made meals. The BIG table was GREAT because we like to eat together. One issue...I wish the resort had recycling, and if it did, we were completely unaware. I HATED throwing away stuff that could be recycled. I am not a tree hugger, but I recycling is so easy and a good thing to do. The only other minor issue is that is was farther from the beach than I expected. When you have 2 kids and 7 adults with chairs, beach toys, coolers, an umbrella etc, it becomes a bit of a hassle to get to the beach. Driving is your best bet (not a far drive) because of the amount of stuff, and then when you get to the private beach parking, you have to haul all your stuff and your kids for about a1/5th of a mile give or take. HOWEVER, the private beach is very nice, not crowded and we had a great time. Knowing that it was a bit of a hassle to get there, we still went 5 of the six days we were there. I would highly recommend this villa and we will very likely return. Also, the manager of the property was right next door, which was fantastic because she gave us some great dining out options and was there if we needed anything.

our concern with this property is physical on our part - we really need to be looking at single floor properties - unit was clean and well stocked, managers easily accessible and friendly - and the weather our week was great! our favorite restaurants are Mitchell's, Bone Fish, Stinky's, Hog's Breath, and Carrabas....all are very good! location of the unit makes it easy to get anywhere and is easy to find within Sandestin

A lovely home for our winter months - bright, spacious & comfortable. The house is clean, well equipped, tastefully furnished and well maintained; and Sandestin is a beautiful setting overall. We look forward to our return next year.

Hi JL, This property is perfect for our family..plenty of space! Steven & Grandaughter Andrea love being so close to the Fitness Center. With several days of mild weather, the girls enjoyed the decks. The unit is clean, cheerful and the new updated kitchen looked swell!

Enjoyed our stay at Sandollar Villa. J.L. was a great help. Will definately recommend the prorperty to others. I felt safe with our teenagers biking and walking around the property alone. They enjoyed their freedom.

We had a great time at the Sandollar Villa. It was very clean and well equipped. It was large enough for us all to be very comfortable during our two week stay in Sandestin. The beach equipment was a great help in allowing us to pack more lightly. The owner was very helpful throughout the whole rental process. We would stay there again if we return to the area.

This villa was great!!! It was spacious, comfortable and had everything that we needed!!! I also was EXTREMELY impressed with the service that JL provided. We were having trouble with the grill and she was right there with a solution providing service with a smile! I HIGHLY recommend this unit!!
