  This place was wonderful to stay in for 2 families with a baby each. The unit was very family friendly with booster chairs, a playpen and toys for the babies. The decor was clean and up to date. The facilities in the complex were also very nice and well maintained. We used the outdoor heated pool and the gym. The owner was very helpful and responsive to the many questions we had and made sure we had all the information we needed to plan the vacation properly. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

  We had a wonderful experience staying at this condo! The owner was great to work with and the booking process was very simple. I had a lot of questions and the owner was pleased to answer all of them. The condo is very nicely updated and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The grounds of the complex are beautiful and we spent most of our time at the pool and the beach. With two small children we really appreciated that the condo had a stroller, playpen and high-chair, all in like-new condition. The upstairs master bedroom has an amazing view of the ocean and we loved spending time on the balcony. We had a wonderful vacation and would recommend this condo and North Coast Village to anyone!

  My husband and I stayed here during January & February 2013 and had a very enjoyable experience. The condo was very clean when we arrived, and the grounds and buildings are very well maintained. The owner was very easy to work with. She responded immediately to all our inquiries. This location was a perfect home base for exploring the area in and around San Diego. It is an easy drive to all the sites in San Diego, as well as several missions, the Catalina Island ferry, golf courses, and even Joshua Tree National Park. The commuter train station is nearby and it provides an ideal way to get to downtown San Diego. The ocean view from the deck is ideal. We walked along the beach many times. Many good restaurants are within easy walking distance from the condo. Finally, the people in Southern California are extremely friendly and nice, which was an unexpected pleasure!

  My husband and our 3 1/2 year old stayed here for a week during the holidays and all I can say is WOW. The condo is very nice....clean, uncluttered, upgraded with an awesome ocean view. The deck is large and even though we had some chilly days, we were able to sit out and watch the windsurfers on the beach. The owner of the property is helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The complex is beautiful with waterfalls, tropical landscaping with a pool, spa, and putting green. It's a great place for a family vacation and we will be back for sure.

  We stayed for one month at this property. As everyone has said, the owner was very helpful, responsive, and accomodating. Loved the upstairs master bedroom and awesome view. Had coffee each morning from the deck and loved waking up each day to the beautiful view. The condo was clean and updated so no disappointment there. Renters should be aware that there are train tracks very nearby.

In Oceanside, the train tracks run along the coast and are very near the beach, so yes, there is an occasional train that goes by which can be heard from our condo. Honestly, you can hear the train from just about everywhere in North Coast Village except the beachfront units where the sound of the surf is louder than the train!   We rented this unit for our daughter's wedding with family from out of town. This unit was very clean, fully stocked and felt warm and inviting, the views from the master bedroom, spectacular. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and highly recommend this particular unit. When arranging my rental dates and inquiries with owners I found them to be extremely helpful, quick in their replies and very pleasant to work with. There is SO much to do, within walking distance. Shopping, eating, the beaches, movie theater and public transportation, easily accessible. Just minutes away. The complex offers a tropical setting, which is so beautiful. There are so many little places with in the complex to just sit and relax and enjoy your stay. Waterfalls, Koi pond, pool, jacuzzi, exercise room, putting green, you name it. If you want to enjoy a hassle free vacation and work with an owner who is pleasant and easy to work with, I recommend renting this unit. You will be very pleased. I can't wait to go back.

  We spent a week in July in this beautiful penthouse condo, and loved its comfort and utility. We also loved its location close to the beach. Other members of our family rented units in the same complex but did not enjoy the same codial dealings with the owner that we did. We appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner during our dealings. Thanks for a great vacation.

  We came for a family vacation and were absolutely delighted with this condo, the complex, and the beach! The condo was just as advertised and was perfect for our family. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our trip, right down to the boogie boards. We loved the master suite and the view from the balcony was wonderful! We sat out there with our kids every night and would leave the door open so that we could go to sleep to the sound of the surf - amazing!! Suzanne was SO great to work with - she answered all the questions we had very quickly and was so great to give us information about the area and things that we could do in Oceanside. Overall, it was a perfect family vacation for us and we thank Suzanne and Steve for sharing their wonderful condo!

  Our 3rd stay at NCV and by far this is the nicest condo we've been in. The owners are wonderful, helpful and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans appliances and the beds in both bedrooms very comfortable. The whole unit has been upgraded, in particular the kitchen and bathrooms. The view from the large deck upstairs is just spectacular and was the scene of many happy hours and sunsets over the month. NCV has some of the nicest grounds we've ever seen and are always immaculate. The those over 60 you can obtain a coaster pass for a month for $42. that takes you into San Diego as often as you want and also use of all trolleys and buses. It just takes the stress out of driving. It was a great month and we would definitely recommend this condo anytime.

  We rented this unit from Jan1, 2012 to Feb 29, 2012.  This condo is a comfortable, well-equipped two bedroom unit.  The bedroom and bathroom downstairs are easily closed off for more privacy, if there are two couples.  The pictures on the Internet give you a very good view of the apartment, with the view of the ocean from the balcony upstairs.  It is nice and spacious.  We particularly enjoyed the sunny balcony, with sun from 10am to sunset.  Even in the winter, it was warm and protected.  There are plenty of activities on the beach to keep one interested without moving from the balcony.  However, if you want something nice to do, a walk to the pier or to the harbor are great daily activities, with lots to see and do.  The harbor has good restaurants also.   The grounds at North Coast Village are beautiful and very well groomed.  We enjoyed the hot pool and sat out at the other large pool, but the water was too cool for swimming, although it was heated.  None of us used the gym, but it seemed to be very well equipped.  I did enjoy the Wednesday night yoga. There are many shopping centers in the area, the missions are interesting to visit and San Diego is not too far away, so that you can spend the day taking in one of the many tourist attractions. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a lovely, comfortable place by the ocean.  The owners are very personable and helpful!   Canucks
