  This house is beautiful! The owners were friendly and met you on the first day. The house was not only "white glove" clean but gorgeous! The location is a very short walk to the beach and the pool was clean. The house is conviently located near restaurants, shopping, goofy golf and batting cages.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I have been renting beach properties for several years for my family. We initially stayed in the Surfside/Garden city area but for the past 8 years have stayed at the Outer Banks area. This house fit our needs perfectly. The private baths with each bedroom were perfect. The layout of the house (dining and great room) were perfect to have the entire clan in one general area. The beach was located just across the street. The private pool was appreciated. The location is close to stores and activities. Cleanliness was one of the reviewes that persuaded me to rent this property. Those reviews were accurate. Look forward to renting this property again

  Our family has been vacationing in Surfside Beach for over 30 years and this house is far and away the best house and value we have had in Surfside. We were celebrating with our immediate family our 50th wedding anniversary and our kids wanted us to celebrate with the renewing of our vows at sunset on the beach. We chose a nearby restaurant to celebrate after the service. It was our best vacation with family we ever enjoyed. The owner met us at the house at an appointed time and was very helpful as she showed us around the house. It felt like home and was well equipped, even including an electric grill and crock pot. The house was very clean upon arrival and the pool was equally clean and a great added amenity. We also took the linen package and it is the first time the beds were made when we arrived. Usually you have to spend time getting the linens on the beds but not in this case. We would recommend this house to any who asks and the family has already agreed with returning to this house in 2013. We are already looking forward to another great vacation in the rental "Like A Dream",

  This house was a fantastic find for our family reunion. We had 16 people including 7 children ages 4 to 14. The house was perfectly located - literally across the street from a beach access. It was an easy walk to Sophia's ice cream, the pier, and Rivertown Cafe. We liked being north of the pier because the beach was less crowded. The house was beautiful inside and very clean. The family room/dining room/kitchen area is open and very spacious. We loved the covered porch overlooking the pool with the rocking chairs and tables. The pool is a nice size and there are plenty of lounge chairs. We set up a net across the pool and had some great volleyball games. The owners have a cart filled with sand toys and other beach supplies. No need to bring sand toys. We got the linen package and were very happy with the softness of the sheets. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved working with Lou, the owner. She was so sweet to even mail us some items that we accidentally left in the dryer.

  What a wonderful house. Our first ever family reunion went great. We had multiple ages (3, 4, 6, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 37, 38, 40, 43, 49, 50, 66, 72, & 76) and this house was PERFECT for us. Just steps away from the beach, nice pool, and a fully stocked kitchen. The bedrooms were big, and everyone had their own private bathroom (BIG PLUS!). The house comes with a wagon full of chairs, sand buckets, and toys for the sand - which we loved! Restaurants, shops, and grocery store are very close, not to mention Sophia's Ice Cream shop within walking distance of the house. Putt Putt, Boardwalk, and Downtown Myrtle Beach are a short drive. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay, look no further. This house is truly "Like a Dream"

  "Like A Dream" is a very fitting name for this vacation home!Our family of 16 enjoyed our vacation immensely.Great location,extremely clean,and pictures and information doesn't do it justice,it's even better.The owner was very friendly and thought of everyone even down to our 6 year old who said"I have my very own table and chairs."The kitchen is very well equipped for everything needed and everything in good condition which can't always be said for vacation homes.The bedrooms all have their very own bath which was great for our large family.Would recommend this home to anyone and it leaves no guessing as to what to expect upon arrival.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and making our vacation a memorable one!

  Our family has vacationed in Surfside Beach for the past 15+ years, and this was without question the best experience we've ever had when renting a beach home. Like a Dream is a very beautiful, spacious, and well maintained beach home with a pool that is everything you could hope for. The owners are wonderful people who were there to meet us upon our arrival, to make sure everything was in order, as promised. They take great pride in their home, and it shows!! Our experience was so positive, my wife and I have already made our reservation at Like a Dream for next year. We hated to leave, and are already counting the weeks until we can return!!

  A group of 7 couples have a yearly beach trip and we have been to "Like a Dream" 2 times in the past couple years. It is the PERFECT setup for couples because each room has a queen or king AND it's own private bathroom! AMAZING layout, super location...very easy walk across the street to the beach. Surfside is one of my favorite beaches. You will LOVE this place. The owner has such great attention to detail and it shows in her cleaning the place before your arrival. It's immaculate. I could go on with all positive things to say, but I will stop here. We will be back soon!

  We are from Massachusetts and planned a family vacation for our grandkids' April school vacation. When we, our children and grandchildren, 15 in all, arrived at "Like A Dream" we were all astonished to see how much more beautiful and spacious this beach house was compared to all the online information. The owners were on site to greet us upon arrival and had everything in top order. This beach house easily accommodated all of us and having a bathroom with each bedroom was the top of convenience.The weather cooperated and we spent a great deal of time on the beach and poolside. A few of the adults got to golf at two different courses, both fantastic. We dined at some great area restaurants and got in a few rounds of mini golf as well. One of the grandkids' favorite day was fishing at the end of the pier. It couldn't have been a more wonderful family vacation. We highly recommend "Like A Dream" for your next family gathering and we hope to come back again soon.
